Good location and beautiful hotel. We are a family of two adults and three kids( age between 9 to 13). Hotel charged us for three adults and two kids. Three nights we ended up paying 3000euro plus. Cost is pretty high and the most hurting point is that we only got to know this upon check out…

This was a repeat visit to the Salzburgerhof and managed to exceed my expectations. The hotel is wonderful. The staff are courteous, charming and helpful. A big thank you to Dir Melanie Scheffenacker, Front Office Manager Iris Marie, Josip, Stella , Dora and others for making my stay so enjoyable. The facilities are second to none, and the meals are fabulous. Housekeeping is of a high standard. Zell am See is the best resort in Austria I experienced. I hope to make a visit to this hotel an annual treat.

The food is truly exquisite, in quality, taste and presentation. The rooms are really nice. I had an amazing junior corner suite on the 3rd floor, with lovely views over the lake and mountains. I did not find it noisy. The spa is extensive with several rooms of comfy beds, including heated water beds, where you can just relax. I did not have any treatments. Zell is a nice town and I enjoyed walking along the lake side promenade. I will likely return to this amazing hotel, and doubt many other places could live up to it.

The hotel is super clean, there is attention to every detail, the staff is very nice and helpful, breakfast is just amazing, location is great, bed is comfortable, the spa facilities are excellent, with everything you wish, different kinds of saunas, indoor and outdoor swimming pool and more.

Very nice hotel , The staff was kind, nice and friendly. The hotel gives the impression of a large, old country house, but it is luxurious and five-star. My room was a suite overlooking the pool, very nice and spacious room. I recommend the hotel to anyone who wants relaxation, comfort and tranquility. The hotel is close to the center and few steps from the Zell Am See lake

As soon as I arrived i had the most womdeful welcome from the hotel manager Isabelle who is from Cape Town and spend half her time in Austria. I was even upgraded to an amazing room with a balcony off both my small lounge and bedroom Lukas' massage was both precise and soothing, while Martina, the spa manager, was simply amazing. I especially loved the luxury of taking the lift straight to my room from the spa—no need to change back into regular clothes. The reception staff was outstanding, making sure I had a great table where I could see everyone and feel part of the group. Josip, the wine expert, stood out with his polite demeanor, impeccable posture, and professionalism. Watching him set the table after breakfast, aligning every knife with precision, was like witnessing an art form. His pride in his work was truly inspiring. Stela, my waitress on the first evening, was quick, professional, and had a lovely fragrance. Both Josip and Stela took the time to ask about the lady seated opposite me, who hadn’t been feeling well the day before—a thoughtful touch that didn’t go unnoticed. Ines, the massage therapist, provided a wonderful experience. Even the smallest details impressed me: the windows in my room were spotless, allowing me to take crystal-clear photos as if I were outside. And the game consommé soup? Light yet rich, packed with deep, hearty flavors while maintaining an elegant delicacy. A truly wonderful stay!

Superb hotel. Luxurious rooms, sublime food and the most AMAZING spa! We had a junior suite. The beds are super comfy and the bathroom was spacious with every whim catered for from the toiletries down to the rainfall shower and the huge bath. The balcony wrapped around the entire room with a fantastic view of the mountains and lake. The welcome cakes & fruit and fresh water filled daily. The food was utterly sublime. 6 courses every evening, each one a taste sensation. The spa, I don’t have enough words to say how amazing it was. So many vapour rooms each with a herbal frangrance. Dry saunas, inside and outside. A plunge pond outside, 2 pools with relaxing chairs, jets, jacuzzis, massaging showers the list is endless. Cannot wait to go back. Cannot recommend enough!

The staff is the friendliest! The service is great. Everything is very tidy and clean (although a little oldfashioned). The food is delicious (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner). Shuttle service from- and to the slopes is ideal. The wellness is nice. There is a nice childrensroom and we loved the live music during our stay in the restaurant.
