Loved our stay at Home Inn Plus Zhangjiajie! Short walk to the restaurants and short taxi ride to east gate. Room was spacious and clean, everything was great! Lady at the tour desk was super helpful with park tickets and suggesting itineraries for the national park, Grand Canyon and Tianmen Mountain back in the main city. The buffet breakfast also includes a bowl of noodles they make upon request.
They also stored our luggage when we went to the Grand Canyon so we could pick up on our way back to the South Gate to make use of our NP tickets for a second day before we went to Zhangjiajie City. Park tickets are good for 4 days so it was a bonus for us and we really enjoyed the extra opportunity.

New hotel, comfy bed, free coffee in the lobby, complimentary breakfast that is not too bad for the price. The hotel is located in a quiet area but still close to everything, and there are many shops, street food stalls, and foot soaking/massage places nearby. The only thing was, occasionally cigarette smell comes through the ventilators, but honestly I did not mind for the price I paid.

The Hotel is GREAT. The place is as asthetic and warm as on the picture on trip . com. They use an aromatherapy that tentalizing your smell to a homey and warm place. The room is well lit, hot shower is full blast and very hot as needed on the winter nites. The mattrass is ergonomically firm. The breakfast is very sophisticated. Cant complained. U can get coffee and tea on the lobby. 🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸

Location of hotel is average you have to do everything by taxi. There’s not really public transportation there. Far to the city centre as well. Close to the hotel there isn’t much to do. Please stay somewhere else where it is more lively because the area where this hotel is located is quite boring and quiet it’s situated in a residence area bot really for tourists. When you check in they are pushy and immediately want to sell you things, this can be annoying when you are tired and just want to go to your room.

The front desk responded quickly, and offered tips when encountering itinerary problems. When leaving the hotel, a small bottle of mineral water was given for drinking on the way. The details were well taken care of. The robot delivered takeout/toiletries cute and efficient, and the children chased to take pictures, which was a plus for parent-child families. There were no obvious sanitary dead corners in the room, the bath towels were packaged in sealed bags, the toilet was disinfected with blue light, and the seat was heated. The laundry room was equipped with clean and dirty clothes sorting baskets, and the cleanliness party expressed peace of mind. Thumbs up. The level exceeded expectations for Home Inn. In addition to the conventional Chinese and Western styles, the freshly cooked noodles stalls had rich toppings! It was super satisfying to have a bowl of hot noodles before climbing the mountain. The laundry and drying on the first floor were also very convenient, and the laundry service was full of sincerity for tourists! Very good, I will stay here again if I have the chance to come back.
