Coming to Zhangjiajie is the fourth stop of our trip. I am a little tired. When I was planning the hotel before coming, I hesitated for a long time between the central area of ​​the landmark gate and here, because I was afraid that transportation would be inconvenient in the mountains, but I was particularly yearning for the small courtyard. In the end, I chose to come here. It was no different from the picture on the homepage, and the price was very affordable. It was already dark when I arrived at the B&B. It was very cold in the mountains at night in late October. The boss arranged a special car to pick us up at the station and took us directly to the courtyard. The boss and his wife also warmly greeted us at the door. The boss and his wife are retired civil servants. They are a super good old couple with a pattern and a mind. They run this small courtyard in the mountains. In addition to restoring the traditional Tujia architectural style, all the food is grown by themselves. There are chickens in a pen at the door, a small vegetable garden, a fig tree and a crisp persimmon tree. There is a kitten in the yard that is particularly clingy. There are clever ideas everywhere. Chinese and Western breakfasts are provided every morning, with steamed buns made by the aunts, porridge, steamed sweet potatoes, boiled free-range eggs... freshly cooked rice noodles, soy milk coffee, and fresh fruits. After playing, you can return to the yard to order lunch and dinner, all of which are green ingredients. The boss is determined to engage in green industry 👍, and the taste is super delicious.
