Great location. Really easy to move around from the hotel. The Tianmen mountain cable car station is near the hotel. The hotel personnel was really helpful and took me to the airport on my return.

Located at a central place, 5 mins walk from the Tianmen Mountain Cableway entry point. Cleanliness wise it is good, helpful staff, if you want your guides, they are available at the reception area.

I went with my sister very close to the tianmen cable car, clean, and very spacious room! There was also a breakfast, it was way more Asian than western but it was good!

We stayed at Ramada, but honestly, it was probably our least favorite hotel of the whole trip. Not terrible, but just kind of dull and lifeless. The rooms were plain and gray, and the food matched that vibe – nothing really stood out. I wouldn’t say it was bad, but it definitely didn’t meet the expectations I usually have from Ramada hotels in other countries. Maybe I was expecting more of that usual chain-level service. It felt more like an average local hotel with a well-known name.

This trip happened to be in Zhangjiajie when there was a heavy rain and flood. Looking through the window in the room, I saw a vast expanse of yellow water on the river. The low road outside the hotel was also flooded by the flood water. The front desk staff called to inform us to move the car to a higher place and not to go out unless necessary. They also gave us fruit snacks to ease our tension. Watching the flood fighting soldiers use pumping equipment to drain the backflowing water on the road, they stood firm day and night.
