Zhangjiajie World Water Four Seasons International Hotel

What a great experience at the Water Amusement Hotel. I loved the pool! The water was very brown, my son and daughter loved drinking it. Chocolate flavour, yum. The lights were always off, and nobody was there. In fact, it was always barricaded off. Very interesting management technique. The rooms were clean, with only a lot of dirt on the carpets, only a lot of cracks on the ceilings, peeling wallpaper and cracked glass in the windows. Made me feel right at home. The beds were too soft, I think they should have been harder. Its located next to a lively nightclub with a friendly atmosphere. There was always loads of positive shouting outside and plenty of hugging in the form of wrestling on the ground outside directly in view of the hotel room. Always love watching people affectionately wrestling each other and caressing each other with their fists. 11/10 wouldn't recommend! I will never forget this place. My prison away from home.

Hotel was advertised to have a pool. I called to check and because the receptionist didn't speak English she hung up on me. On arrival at the Hotel, the Hotel Manager said the hotel was in the middle of transitioning to a new owner. The hotels spa wasn't operational, and I don't think if anything else was working, but he suggested I see a masseuse instead. Bar fridge in my room wasn't working. They replaced it as soon as I pointed this out. They also lent me a power adapter. Hotel receptionist was helpful and apologetic for the rudeness of the Executive Manager. He ordered me some food for delivery to the hotel.
