Luyao Inn (Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain Cableway)

This small hotel is perfect and is situated in an excellent location, close to the Tianmenshan Cableway station, which serves as the starting point for the A route to Tianmen Mountain. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a laundry service available, but they do not have a tumble dryer. Instead, they will hang your clothes outside in the hot weather. However, if you visit during the wet or cold season, you will need to dry your clothes in your room. We visited in June, which was both scorching hot and rainy. While there is no fridge in the room, you can ask the staff to store your food in their refrigerator.

Great hotel! Staff is really helpful, the location is perfect, 8 minutes from the cableway station. Nearby are lots of authentic local restaurants! It’s really quiet at night, so easy to relax. Will definitely come here again!

My stay at this hotel was **absolutely unforgettable**, not just because of its **perfect location** (only 5 minutes to Tianmen Cable Car Station!), but because of the **incredibly warm owners** who treated me like family. The **kindest surprise**? They **invited me to their family dinner** where I got to enjoy **authentic, home-cooked local dishes** – the flavors were absolutely delicious and something you’d never find in restaurants! The owners and their family member’s were incredibly kind and always ready to help whenever needed. Their warm hospitality made me feel right at home. Nearby, there are also plenty of restaurants and shops, so everything you need is within easy reach. The rooms were clean and comfortable. While there's only a staircase (no elevator), the owners and staff **kindly helped carry our luggage** up and down – their willingness to assist made all the difference! , the warm hospitality and prime location more than made up for it. If you don’t mind a few stairs, this is the **perfect budget-friendly stay** in Zhangjiajie!
