Had a pleasant time staying here. Reception was friendly and very helpful in booking tickets for attractions. It was easy to communicate through WeChat, the forest is a 10 minute walk to the entrance . Located close to the shops and the theatre show. Our last day was at Tianmen mountain which is an hour from this hotel. Reception told us we could leave our luggage with them and for 20 yuan per piece they would consign our luggage to the station for us and we could pick it up from there. It worked out extremely well for us as the station is 30 mins from the mountain. Breakfast was good and our view from the room was awesome! Would definitely recommend.

Hotel location was good as it is just a short walk to the East entrance of ZJJ National Forest Park. Crossing the stream (see picture) to get across to the other side was a challenge for the elderly.
You need to cross over to get to the main road to walk to the national park (see picture of the East entrance to the ZJJ forest park).
I would recommend a short stay at Lanting as the main objective was to visit the mountains.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Its location is excellent, being just a 15-minute walk to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which made exploring the park very convenient. The hotel itself is very clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment.
One of the highlights was the convenience of Meituan delivery directly to the doorstep, making meals hassle-free. Additionally, the butler provided exceptional service by helping us book tickets and offering detailed guidance on how to make the most of our adventure in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
Overall, a fantastic experience with great service and convenience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

We booked 6 rooms for me and my family. Room was spacious, affordable and cozy. Breakfast was OK. Location wise, its very close to National Forest Park. Its very good if you are planning to go to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. However, if you are planning to go to Tian Men Shan, i would recommend to stay near city center. 🙏👍

We had a comfortable stay here. The butler (前台管家小婷小维）were helpful in the planning of the itinerary and buying of discounted tickets. We were given some snacks and sweet oranges as well. 1 washing with drying function was available on every level. Recommend to stay here if you visit Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan area.

Great Location and Friendly Staff especially front desk
for two nights in November 2024 during a family vacation.
The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Our room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful view.
The hoteis in a fantastic location, just a short walk from restaurant and popular attractions.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

Nice rooms, good location and lovely staff.
They helped me plan my trips and got me my tickets easily. Not all the staff speaks English but communication still works great with translator and so on. Breakfast is Only chinese but I don't mind that. Only downside was that the shower temperature randomly changed between warm and cold sometimes. Besides that everything was great would recommend ☺️
