First time experiencing a homestay like this, and the owner is the reason I want to do it again. I usually don't write reviews like this, but the service baffled me. The day before my arrival, the owner asked ways to contact; we added eachother on WeChat and communication was extremely easy. Gave me options from picking up from the airport to tips on how to get there safely and easy. This made the arrival very easy and I felt safe/confident. They took our luggage to the room, accomodation itself was quite pleasant, everything was clean and they were understanding. The place is quite remote, so there were barely any food options. The owner offered us their food options, first I wasn't intrigued but in the end we chose to order. It went smoothly, got a message we could come downstairs for food; it was an amazing homecooked meal that made me feel like I was back home. After dinner he insisted to plan our whole 2-day Zhangjiajie itinerary. From ways to travel to activities. He made clear how we could get the most out of the 2 days while being realistic about time. This went to smoothly, he purchased the tickets for us for the retail price, similar to the price on trip.com. The days went by so smoothly, it was like having a free tour guide with the stay. When there were any questions, messages and calls were responded immediately. I can write so much more, but all I can say is that this was one of the best experiences I've ever had while staying in any accomodation, even compared to high-end hotels. Thank you so so much for the amazing experience, without you I wouldn't have seen so much in 2 days. PS he has very cute cats walking around

During this trip to Zhangjiajie, our family of three spent a very pleasant two days and one night in your homestay. The first thing that needs to be mentioned is that our accommodation experience benefited greatly from the unique farmhouse atmosphere of the B&B - especially the stove in the house and the charcoal stove under the stage, which allowed us to feel the warmth and comfort of home even though we were far away from home. In addition, our children had a lot of fun playing with the B&B owner's children and became happy little friends, which added a lot of fun to our trip. We were also deeply impressed by the hospitality and attentive service of the B&B owners, who not only helped us purchase tickets to Zhangjiajie Forest Park, but also provided us with thoughtful guidance on how to maximize our enjoyment of the park’s beauty within a limited time. In general, Sishiliaoliao B&B not only provided us with comfortable accommodation, but also added countless wonderful memories to our trip. We have already fallen in love with the fresh air and beautiful scenery of Zhangjiajie. We look forward to visiting here again in the near future and choosing Four Seasons Liao Liao B&B as our temporary residence again.

Very good experience staying in this hotel. The location is about 7 minutes walk to the East Entrance of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in Wulingyuan. All the staff were very helpful and very patient to explain to us in Wechat, how to get to the hotel as we are foreigners and not sure how to navigate around the places. They also helped us to buy entrance tickets to the National park and Charming Xiangxi Show theather tickets. They have washing machines and dryers at the top floor of the building which is very convenient to use. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk away from the restaurants, convenient stores and night markets which serves nice food and snacks. We were so grateful to the staff who helped us to buy crutches from ******* for our son who has an injury on his ankle. They also provided some kind of herbal medicine (without cost) to apply on his ankle to reduce swelling. We were amazed by the speed of the delivery of the crutches to our hotel room in less than 25 minutes. The service of ******* is really marvellous.

Coming to Zhangjiajie, I looked for a four-star hotel near the East Gate. I wanted something convenient for getting around, but when I arrived, I couldn't find a parking space (despite being promised free parking). Eventually, with the help of a security guard, I found a remote spot. Thankfully, I was able to park, but my car was at the entrance for so long that I got a ticket for an illegal stop. The security guard's service was good, which I appreciate. When I went to the front desk to check in, a security guard was eating and said the customer service staff had gone for a meal. (It's hard to believe a four-star hotel only has one front desk agent.) The room was quite spacious, and aside from some noise from the hallway, it was a pleasant stay, and the cleanliness was good. However, the breakfast here is truly disappointing. This is the first time I've encountered a four-star hotel without boiled eggs. On the second day, besides rice noodles, cake, watermelon, and powdered milk-based juice, there was nothing else. The serving dishes were empty. They said a machine was broken, but can't they even boil eggs if a machine is broken? They said breakfast started at 6 AM, but by 7 AM, there were still no dishes, and no contingency plans were in place. I suspect breakfast is outsourced, and I think the hotel management needs to talk to the contractor, as this will surely ruin their business.

The location of the hotel is very good, 3 minutes walk from the East Gate. The hotel facilities and equipment are all fully intelligent. The boss is super super nice. It is worth recommending
