Check in was supposed to be at 3pm but the room wasn’t ready until 7pm, I had to request the manager and only then did they give us our room key. The pool, one of the reasons I wanted to go to this hotel was very small and not worth it. Maybe during the snowy season it might be fine but I don’t plan on staying in a Marriott again. Not a real four star hotel, not worth the money.
They did offer me free breakfasts for the inconvenience but even that was a sub par experience.

This is really beautiful hotel, ski in ski out hotel, safe for ski resort, the staffs really really taking care of their guests, my stayed is included ski ticket for 2, and so surprised that the hotel free upgraded my room to ski view. The service is absolutely excellent. It’s free shuttle bus from Chongli train station to the hotel, Aranya & courtyard by Marriott is same company both also under Marriott. I would stay here for ski again next year.

1. The hotel does not implement a smoking ban. The corridor is full of cigarette butts and they don't deal with it. After I complained, they just swept the floor and left it alone.
2. Hygiene is worrying. The ground is full of dirt. The snow bags are all over the ground. I reported it twice to the front desk but no one dealt with it. I asked them 800 times before someone came to sweep it.
3. No sound insulation. At midnight, the music was so loud that I couldn't sleep.

Rest is the most important thing after skiing, and the bedding selection of this hotel is also very refreshing. After a day of exercise, there is no soreness that makes you unable to wake up, but the excitement of seeing the ski resort as soon as you get up!!

I brought my 10-year-old and 5-year-old children to ski. I didn't have high expectations for the hotel. The result was unexpected. The hotel room was warm and clean. The room service was very timely. The cleaning lady saw that I brought my children and put a lot of bottles of water for me. It was so considerate. It was half a minute walk downstairs from the room to the place where ski equipment was rented. There was a ski resort downstairs. If you were tired halfway through skiing, you could go to the room to rest. It is very suitable for families with elderly and children. I will choose this place next time!
