Oakwood Suites Chongli

The hotel is very new, clean and sanitary. There are many types of breakfast to choose from. It was snowing heavily when I went there. It is very close to Taiwu and Taizicheng stations. However, the facilities nearby are not perfect and there are not many dining options.

In order to avoid the weekend crowds, I booked this hotel near Taiwu. The room I was assigned was on a lower floor when I checked in, and the lady at the front desk immediately adjusted the room. The surrounding environment is good, the snow trail is in the distance outside the window, and it is also very quiet.

I have stayed in many hotels under Ascott. Oakwood Suites in Chongli is quite satisfactory and has a high cost-effectiveness. There was a pre-adjustment call on the day of check-in to inquire about the check-in time and itinerary. The front desk was proficient in check-in procedures. Jiali & Yamin provided warm and thoughtful service. The first impression was very good. The room was arranged in the middle of the corridor on the second floor. The suite of about 55 square meters seemed a little cramped, and the space was not fully utilized, but the overall decoration and facilities were very advanced, and the full set of Panasonic appliances had a very good texture. The American Standard Washlet in the room was very easy to use, and the water temperature in the shower area was difficult to control. It was almost impossible to adjust the cold water during the stay. The breakfast was of medium level, the dining table was small but basically everything was available; however, the temperature in the restaurant was too low, and the food was all cold when it was served. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the stay. The only drawback was the lack of parking space and the few shuttle buses to the surrounding ski resorts. Others were quite satisfactory. Worth recommending!
