Romantic Hotels in Zhangye

A fantastic hotel. I usually don’t like staying in big hotels as they tend to be soulless, but this one was really special. From the fresh cucumber face mask to the hot soak for your feet, they are incredibly thoughtful and kind. The service is fantastic. They were really helpful to us as foreigners, highly recommend!

The second stop in Gansu, the hotel is super big. It was dark when I arrived at the hotel. I left early and returned late the next day. I didn't remember to go to the balcony until the morning of check-out. I didn't expect it to be so beautiful. The weather was also great, and the visibility was particularly good. You can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance at a glance. The environment must be full marks, the hygiene is also good, the room is very clean, and the basic facilities are all available, and there is a humidifier. I didn't understand the service. There were several staff members standing at the door. I thought they were doormen at first, but when I got on or off the bus with things in my hands, these staff members also looked at me with a smile, and no one came to help or ask if I needed help. There was even one time when the things in my hand fell to the ground, and the staff still stood by and watched me pick them up by myself. So are so many people standing at the door taking shifts to bask in the sun? I don't quite understand. The noodles in the hotel restaurant are delicious, highly recommended.

Just completed a wonderful three night stay at the Zhangye Holiday Inn. Perhaps most Silk Road tourists do not spend three nights in Zhangye but we wanted to visit both the popular and more “off the beaten path” historical sites nearby. This Holiday Inn is up to international standards - the staff was very professional, courteous and well trained, the rooms were modern and well-maintained, and even the buffet breakfast restaurant manager spoke English. This is probably one of the few (if not the only) more Westernized hotels in Zhangye) and we had a very good stay and experience in this hotel in Zhangye.

It's a great hostel! Really clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is really nice. On top of that it is well located. I highly recommend this hostel. The hotel is located on a bustling street in Xilai Lane in Ganzhou District. Next to it is Xilai Temple, Zhangye Big Buddha Temple, Muta Temple and Zhangye Museum are all two kilometers away. We visited the scenic spots during the day and went to Ming and Qing snacks in the evening. Street, Zhangye’s special delicacies are all there. It's just a walk away, and it's also convenient to take a taxi. The hotel is clean and tidy, the transportation is convenient, and parking is friendly. You can park in the hotel courtyard. The breakfast is rich and there are Zhangye beef rice and noodles. The service is good. I am very happy to visit Zhangye this time!

The location of the hotel is OK, not far from Zhangye West Station. The facilities are satisfactory. Breakfast is served at a cooperating restaurant outside on the first floor. There is a bowl of noodles, a combination of cold dishes and tea eggs. The hygiene is also average. However, there are mosquitoes in the room and the child was bitten a lot. After asking the front desk to send electric mosquito coils, there was some effect.
