American traveler. Overall great experience. Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Facilities clean and new. Love that there's a shared washer and dryer with free detergent (I did a lot of laundry while here). Free breakfast is great (if you like Chinese breakfast). Wi-Fi worked great (with VPN). Conveniently located for getting everywhere in Zhangzhou. Cons: Minor stuff. No elevator, so if you're on the second floor be prepared to haul your luggage (although they'll try to do it for you). No AC in upstairs common areas. Not much within walking distance in the way of restaurants, but you can get to tons of restaurants within 5 min by taxi or DiDi.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the ancient city.
The room has a higher ceiling than ordinary hotels, and the room doesn't feel stuffy even when it's hot.
The bedding is comfortable, there is a tatami for drinking tea, and the balcony faces the temple. There are chants of morning classes in the temple in the early morning, which is peaceful and comfortable.
The only thing is that the breakfast is not rich enough in Zhangzhou, a city of food, but takeout is convenient.

On the north side of the hotel, go through the bridge hole to Zhongshan Bridge (46.7 meters long and 5.4 meters wide). After getting off the bridge, you will reach the ancient city in three to five hundred meters, close to the most beautiful Hong Kong Road.
