The location and service are great. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful, especially since I am a foreigner and handling things is difficult due to the language barrier. They provided all the assistance I needed and more.
Also it's good to note breakfast is excellent and I recommend it.
I'll also add the hotel is quite old, and while they maintain it well, its age starts to show a bit in some places. It's not really a practical issue, but something to note if its of concern.

Four star, Chinese style, suitable for a short stay for a solo traveller. While everything works, the age of the building and furniture is showing, and the breakfast could be more international.

The room were comfortable and the staff very friendly. We found lots of of vegetarian options at breakfast buffet which was great.

The location of Diamond Hotel is near the busy and lively Zhangzhou Ancient City in evening time.and close to some restaurants just across the street. The hotel staff at the reception were friendly and helpful when we needed the service of taxi upon checking out from the hotel. To our surprise,the breakfasts at the hotel were good with some extra food choices. The bedrooms were comfortable albeit not that modern.
