GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Berman Hotel (Zhanjiang Dingsheng Plaza, Seaside Park) while visiting Zhanjiang, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Every interaction was friendly and made me feel truly valued as a guest.
The room was immaculately clean and comfortable and had all the essentials for a relaxing stay. I was impressed by how well-maintained everything was. After a long day of exploring the city, it was the perfect place to unwind.
One of the highlights of my stay was the fantastic breakfast. There was a wide selection of delicious options, both local and international, catering to different tastes. It really gave me a great start to my day.

GGuest UserThe hotel environment is excellent. Xiaoxi, the administrative service butler, called me to ask about my room needs. The service was thoughtful and patiently answered my questions. I will choose here next time. It is very convenient to travel, there are many choices for midnight snacks, and there is a Wudexun food stall nearby.

The hotel itself was very clean, with attention to detail in every aspects of the design and finishing. In general I would say it has a much higher quality standards than most multi chain contemporary style hotels I have stayed it throughout China.
The hotel offered a complimentary tea and mid night snack with the booking which was very decent as a light snack and the breakfast had a good selection of foods to choose from.
The location itself is very good for the beach as only minutes away. Only downside is the limited selection of eating venues local to the hotel.

It was my first time in Zhanjiang, and I had a very good impression. The city is clean and tidy, and there are many delicious foods. I encountered a small incident on the first night of staying in the hotel. After I called to report it, the assistant manager of the lobby and the housekeeping department immediately actively solved it. The service was very good. The breakfast was rich and the croissant was delicious. It is very close to the beach from the side door, and it is also convenient to walk to the surrounding area to eat delicious food. I will choose this place next time I go to Zhanjiang.

AAnonymous UserThe room is too small, the hotel price is not cost-effective, and the most unbearable thing is that the shower and toilet are integrated into the bathroom. After taking a shower, you are wet and cannot go to the toilet. The hotel hygiene is OK. It is not 10 minutes away from the high-speed rail station as advertised, but at least 18 minutes. Such a small shop has a lot of written compensation, and a deposit is required to get the room card. Many high-level hotels I have stayed in do not require a deposit. The experience is not very good.

GGuest UserThe soundproofing of the room was poor. During the day, I could hear renovations on the third floor and children crying in other rooms. When I came back from staying on the fifth floor, I saw someone on the large platform in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows. They were walking around using hooks to fix the air conditioner. Machine, it feels a little strange
On the first night of my stay, my feet were bitten by bed mites.
Everything else is okay, the bed and toilets are quite clean.

__M1391012****This is the best accommodation at the southernmost tip of mainland China. I stayed in Fangpo Village the day before, and the environment was not as beautiful as here. It is only 300 meters away from the lighthouse.
The facilities are very new, the smart devices are well received, and the bathroom supplies and bedding are very good. There is no TV in the room, but the sleep was quiet and comfortable. The food is also good and drinks are provided. The housekeeper worked very hard to prepare our dinner, thank you very much.
A small suggestion would be to have a cup of coffee in the room. Also, there are flies in the room in this season. I wonder if there is any way to improve it.

20250207-08 Struggling to find reception, as on 2nd floor in building of shopping centre. They do not understand! Just keep saying don't understand: ”wǒ tīng bù dǒng”. Not helpful at all! Just keep on typing on translator and not in WeChat.
Very difficult to know where to park in parking garage beneath the shopping centre building. After driving around, found a sign to hotel, but not at entrance to parking garage.
Morning staff as unfriendly as evening staff. Just shouting at me! I kept on saying ”Weixin”. Lateron she registered...
The trip.com awards were for 2020 and 2022 - definitely not for reception staff in 2025! 😰
