This charming, ancient house turned family-run hotel is nestled within the historic city walls (note that even as a hotel guest, you’ll need to purchase an entrance ticket to access the city). Beautifully decorated, it exudes authentic charm, but it feels more like a homestay than a hotel, with its pros and cons.
The warm landlady’s hospitality and generosity were slightly hindered by the language barrier (as we regrettably don’t speak Chinese). However, her helpful daughter bridged the gap via WeChat, providing tips, arranging transportation, and ensuring a smooth stay.
All in all, it’s an excellent choice for travelers seeking a personal touch and a culturally immersive experience.

The boss lady also gave me tickets to watch Yaoxiu for free~ Every time I come here, I want to recommend it to my friends! Must be recommended with 5 stars, the first courtyard in Huangyao, there are endless tourists coming in to check in. The boss lady is really nice, the boss lady is beautiful and arranges the pick-up station and tickets. The whole family is very kind. I came here for 3 days and felt like my own home. I was reluctant to leave the boss lady when I left.
