This is the second time I stayed at Crowne Plaza Zhenjiang. I still feel very good. First, I received a warm reception from the front desk manager Tom Liu. When he heard that we wanted a non-smoking room, he immediately upgraded us to a non-smoking floor. The room was clean and hygienic without any odor, which made our family very happy. Secondly, I am also very satisfied with the hotel's package. I feel that it is very cost-effective. Not only afternoon tea and simple dinner are provided, but also welcome drinks and snacks are provided. In addition, the service staff in the restaurant, guest room and fitness center are very polite and provide good service. Of course, the location of the hotel is also very superior. Opposite is Jinshan Lake, and there are all kinds of cute birds flying on the lake. It is so beautiful. These are the reasons why I like this hotel.

All good except the room service, which I was forced to use, as I had to work late from my room. Ordering was not at all simple (having not spotted the QR code notice on the fridge work top. But response was swift, so too was delivery of the order. However, the ”Ceasar Salad” was sorrowful! Lettuce leaves awash in some sort of watery white fluid, with no discernable taste, some croutons and a few pieces of dried bacon. Especially disappointing given how lovely the fruit and vegetables are most of the time in China. Main course ”Lemon and Herb Chicken” should have been listed as ”Lemon and Herb Skin and Bones”!!! There was virtually NO actual chicken meat. Roated tomatoes and asparagus were lovely, Dessert was uninspiring, but compared to the salad and main course for sure the best course. The Wine? Completely undrinkable. Opened, poured a small amount to taste, spoilt. It happens, sadly! Would be a good idea to open the wine to test before serving

I have stayed in this hotel on every trip to Zhenjiang for the past 8 years. The hotel is always clean and daily breakfast is good. I always ask to stay in the building that has the breakfast room as this motel has another building about 100m away. Some rooms do smell of smoke, but in this one instance I have asked to be changed to another room, and the gladly assisted.

Before I praise the room, I should praise the location. The location is really amazing. On one side is Zhenjiang and on the other side is Yangzhou. The name of this Jiangxin Island is also good. It was originally called Yanzhizhou. I fell down in the misty rain in the south of the Yangtze River as soon as I went there. The room was very clean and the front desk was very nice. Enthusiastic, give us good reviews, and actively introduce the scenic spots on the island to us. If you can see it, please add chicken drumsticks to the front desk.

I booked the room with an additional price on Saturday. On Saturday during the summer vacation, basically all projects were stopped at 7 pm. People were driven into a small hot spring pool, and their attitude was very unfriendly. I stayed at the hotel to enjoy the hotel, but now the front desk was so careless and ignored all the questions I asked. The gym on the first floor was basically locked.
