Facility had a nice little pool, but water was too cold. Too dangerous to swim in the river. As you face the river, we walked right to a glamping area and had a cold beer. There is a petting zoo type deal on the way. To the left, you eventually climb up to a mini version of the great wall. The hotel is located in a tourist area but most stores/restaurants are closed. However there are a couple open places and the staff was helpful finding them. The room was large and clean, especially the shower was very nice. The biggest issue I had with this hotel is that only one of windows had proper curtains, the other was very bright at night since the hotel lights are just outside. The last picture was taken at 2am so just bring an eye mask if you plan to stay here. Overall the hotel was fine and priced well for its proximity to the Shapotou tourist attraction.
