鍾祥和隨州一樣，都屬於出了湖北就沒人知道的“難兄難弟”。 但鍾祥的底氣明顯要更足一點，作為曾經的楚國陪都和國都，現今的名字來自於明嘉靖皇帝的親筆御賜，皇帝大筆一揮，將鍾祥的安陸府升為承天府，這可是和北京順天府以及南京應天府並列的明朝三大直轄府之一，相當於如今上海和深圳的地位，你説牛不牛？ 但風流總被雨打風吹去，如今的鐘祥，別説和首都魔都相提並論，就是在湖北，也遠遠及不上武漢，除了還有個世界文化遺產明顯陵，似乎早已遠離了別人的視線。 所以，當我們來到鍾祥的馬廄酒店，除了百無聊賴的工作人員，靜寂無人，走進客房，迎接我們的是三四衹飢腸轆轆的蚊子，和一衹緊緊趴在燈上不肯稍離一步的大蟲子。 生態環境是好得過分了一點，可想想這是在鄉野之間，酒店的前身又是個軍馬場，嚴格意義上來説，是我們侵入了昆蟲們的老家，也就釋然了。 酒店並未對原有的建築大動幹戈，衹是做了適當的優化和舒適性處理，客房的外觀以及過道走廊更是有意識地做了很大程度的保留，斑駁的歲月痕跡，就這樣留着，挺好。 大堂布置温馨，前台的四個紅棕色的馬鞍凳讓人眼睛一亮，小細節上對酒店主題的迴應，又能讓人體會不一樣的check-in，對客人是討喜，對酒店而言，付出成本不高，卻能與眾不同，何樂而不為？ 馬廄酒店的前面，是一座開滿了半池荷花的小湖，有小徑步入環繞一圈，亭亭凈植的荷花，也不再是衹可遠觀不可褻玩，聽這裏的人講，特地栽種了不結藕的品種，所以蓮蓬頭反而更加鮮甜，無心之柳的意外之喜，真是無處不在。

My personal view is that it is more surprising than the nearly 20 ancient towns and villages I have visited (including Wuzhen and Phoenix Ancient City). There are not many tourists, the building is very distinctive, and there is an obvious tomb next to it (time reason, it is too late to go to this world heritage), quiet and very comfortable. It is more a high-end homestay than a hotel. Chinese decoration, breakfast is quite satisfactory, there are not many varieties, and it is in line with the price. The only bad thing is that it is too difficult to find a parking place. The place to navigate is written on ”internal vehicle entry”. I couldn't find a place to re-navigate. Finally, I had to call the front desk to know that I had to drive into the parking lot of the obvious Lingmao Tourist Service Center. They arranged a shuttle bus to pick it up. When checking in at the front desk, I heard the staff answer the phone and asked where to drive and how to come in. It seemed to have caused trouble to many people.
