Excellent hotel. Very comfortable room with a super shower. Great location near to the ski lifts. Very friendly and hospitable manager and charming staff. Good dinner in their restaurant and nice breakfast. Very good value for money. Looking forward to my next visit.

I have visited this hotel many times and it is excellent. Where to begin? - Flexible room configurations - Clean and well-appointed rooms - Friendly staff who are very helpful - Excellent breakfast included in the rate - Perfect location for serious hikes in the local mountains and a perfect base for a multi hike holiday with a large secure storage room - Reasonable rates - Excellent dinner with good menu choices and well presented dishes.

We stayed for one night while hiking the Haute Route and enjoyed the hotel. Our room was modern, clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel owners are caring people with the husband helping tighten the screws on my trekking poles so that they would not collapse while hiking. They provided instructions on how to check into our room. Since they were out the evening we arrived, we did not get to eat dinner at their restaurant; however, we had a good meal right next door. We wish we had time to check out Zinal, but we were tired from the hike and had limited time. Overall, I would recommend staying here and likely would book here again without looking elsewhere.

La Pointe is probably the best located hotel in the small village of Zinal. Very handy for the gondola to the ski area and very easy reach of the small choice of shops, bars and restaurants. The room was on the small side but well equipped and comfortable. Probably the best pillows in my 40 years plus of Alpine experience! The hotel, as a whole, has been tastefully modernised and the friendly staff add to the atmosphere. The boot room is good but there was not much hot air in the boot drying system! Breakfast was adequate but not spectacular and we dined twice in the evening. Not a particularly extensive menu with some odd choices - fish and fruit was just weird! All in all though, we really liked Zinal and its ski area so definitely would return.

Me and a friend were the only ones in the hotel bc out of season! they treated us like kings! the dinner was great and the breakfast ( a nice buffet only for us ) was delicious, very friendly staff! very clean room! the price for a swiss hotel is fair!

Great trip, the people working there are symply amzing and super kind. Food was local and amazing, confort in the room was great! I would highly recommend this place, as the ratio cost / quality is really high!!

Great location, close to lifts and bus stop. Rooms quite small, but comfortable and warm, fantastic bathroom, very pleasant dining room. Absolutely fantastic food! Excellent boot room accessible from inside and outside. Friendly competent and organised hotel team who really seem to care you have a good time. Brilliant buffet breakfasts. For vegetarians there are fewer dinner options which might be in an issue if you are stayind several nights, but given notice they made something not on the menu, which was excellent. The local buses are brilliant so you can easily access other parts of the valley from here.

A charming and professional welcome, a nicely renovated and clean room. The breakfast is really good, with everything you would expect to get a good start to a day of skiing. No doubt, we will come back there during our next stay.
