Pension Usao was beautiful place to stay as i moved towards Pamplona on the Camino Frances. The town is small but pretty. The hostess/owner was a lovely woman who made me feel very welcome and without too much english skillfully showed me where to get dinner and breakfast in the town. The bedroom and ensite bathroom were clean, modern and homely. Upstairs provided a communal area and kitchen along with the sought after camino stamp. Was very impressed with the accommodation and the welcome.

Thank you, Usoa, for your wonderful support. Very kind owners who made sure that we Camino pilgrims felt comfortable and supported (we experienced some back pain). Rooms very clean, located right around the corner from where peregrinos gather to eat and relax. Within steps of the bridge to the next Camino stage.

During the last couple of years I ve stayed four times at the pensión Usoa. The owner is extraordinary helpful and friendly beyond measure. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and the salon is cozily furnished. The prices have stayed moderate over the years even during the economic crisis . Rainer Schumacher from Germany

I spent one night here as part of my Camino journey. It’s very convenient for those walking the Camino as it’s just a few hundred yards off the route in the heart of this very pleasant and historic village. I had a very warm welcome from the hostess, who was very helpful and friendly. She let me do some clothes washing, which was very handy. We had a lovely chat in Spanish and she was very patient with my efforts to find the right vocabulary to talk about the region, wildlife and culture. My room was very clean and comfortable. The temperature was in the high twenties but I slept well. There’s no food provided but the guesthouse arranged this with a nearby restaurant for dinner and the excellent Bar Valentin for breakfast. I’d definitely recommend this as a home away from home on the Camino De Santiago. ¡Muchas gracias por la hospitalidad!

Excellent location for those walking the Camino de Santiago. Perfect cleanliness, large room, large and spotless bathroom. Kitchen available with free use of the washing machine and large clothesline. Add to this a welcome and great friendliness. All at a great price. What more could you want?

Simple hotel, it's the only one in Zubiri, but the rooms are clean and there is a nice bathroom. My room was a bit noisy as it overlooked the road, but it's not the ring road either. The people who run the hotel are friendly and welcoming, which is very good. Breakfast is pretty basic, but it's a small hotel. It no longer has a restaurant, and the only restaurant is located at the other end of Zuburi about 600 m away, a little hard after a day of walking on the Camino de Santiago, but hey, when you're hungry... (Hotel isn't too expensive, and it's just fine.

Stayed while doing the Camino de Santiago at the end of September 2021 I arrived very tired from the stage and not wanting to sleep in the Hostel, due to everyone's desire to party. Without having a reservation, the lady was very friendly and attentive. The room and bathroom in perfect conditions of cleanliness and comfort. I was able to rest and regain strength perfectly. In addition, with your advice I was able to find a backpack transport service (I planned the trip poorly with a lot of weight and with two pieces of luggage: 1 large backpack and a small sports bag) thanks to your advice, the sports bag with the essentials would accompany me from there, and the large backpack with all the weight would wait for me at the destination) On trips like this, what is appreciated is the attention and kindness of the person.
