The hotel is right in the city center, right outside the church. The hotel is very old, so-called retro. The hotel rooms should be separated, and there will be no way to rest if someone is having a party next door. If the hotel plug doesn't fit, ask the front desk for one. No breakfast provided. The breakfast shop in front of the hotel generally costs more than 20 francs for a breakfast.

A little bit difficult to find this hotel especially as we did not have mobile phone access for maps. Easy check in and very friendly staff. We picked a mid-range room and it was quite spacious with a smallish bathroom but a good sized shower. Room has everything you need including a coffee maker. Bed is really comfortable. No faults that I could find.

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. We had a wonderful experience. There is a cocktail bar below / next door where you check in. Colin who checked us in is one of the most attentive people we have ever met. He checked us into our room and was super friendly and helpful. We went to the bar for a few drinks and again his hospitality was second to none. We read reviews before coming to this hotel which complained about the noise, yes it’s busy, yes there is some noise but being in the centre of a city minutes walk from all amenities we expected some noise. There were plenty of ear plugs provided within the room. It’s in an ideal location for exploring Zurich , plenty of restaurants within walking distance, loads of bars. Lake Zurich was easily accessible. The rooms were recently renovated and the shower was lovely , clean towels everyday. Colin also assured us that if we ran out of anything - tea/coffee / toiletries etc or wanted etc wine glasses for our room it would not be a problem. In fairness , we had plenty of everything and didn’t need to ask for more but it was lovely to know that the offer was there. Highly recommend this place, if you are very precious about noise I would avoid, however it is expected in a city centre. Thank you having us , we will tell all our friends to visit . Kate and Gavin

I really liked this cute little hotel. The biggest factor was the staff. when I arrived my case was taken up and I got a super friendly welcome. Super central in the old town with great walking and running opportunities near the lake. Great value for money and my place to stay in Zurich from now on.

Mega small, uninviting room, music and chatter from outside until 3:00 a.m., refrigerator cools down loudly for over 10 minutes every 2 hours, smell of smoke throughout the entire house. Check-in went well.
