Zurich District 5-Industriequartier Hotels

The location is excellent. It is only a 5-6 minute walk to Zurich train station. There is a supermarket right across the street and plenty of restaurants nearby. You can easily walk to some of the most beautiful places in Zurich. The room I stayed in had a kitchen, plates, cutlery, and a microwave. The cleanliness could be better, but it was not terrible—just average. The room had towels and dish soap, but there were no slippers or soap.

Good location, only 20 minutes walking from the main train station and 9 minutes in public transport with several options to travel around the city. They allow you to use their microwave and kitchenware if you bring your own food. Breakfast does not worth for the price you paid. Highly recommended if you are coming to Zurich for few days.

Excellent location of the hotel near the train station and bus station. The historical city center is located a little further, but also within walking distance. On the ground floor of the hotel there is a 24-hour store, which is also very convenient. The room has everything you need: a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, dishes, bathroom. The Internet works. There is air conditioning. Everything is great, we were satisfied, although in the evening it is noisy from the street, but this is not the fault of the hotel.

The hotel is clean and concise, full of essentials, although seemingly quieter, with multiple restaurant options nearby, very good Indian cuisine downstairs, acceptable views, later in the evening if the windows face the street. It may be hot in summer with the windows closed (no air conditioning), the hallway put a fan at your own disposal. The most commendable thing is that there is free luggage storage (but limited cabinets), there was just one cabinet left for us. The lockers at the train station are full. How lucky!

Was here in May (Spring) The hotel is conveniently located near Zurich HB, which makes it great for travelers. There’s also a lift, which is helpful for carrying luggage. Breakfast was decent. As someone with dietary restrictions (halal), the options were limited — mainly bread, eggs, and mushrooms. There were also apples and canned fruits available for yogurt, which was a nice touch. The room itself was decent and comfortable. However, cleanliness in the bathroom could be improved — the movable mirror was rusty. That said, I had read some negative reviews beforehand, so I came prepared to expect the worst, and honestly, it turned out better than I expected. The TV wasn’t a smart TV, even though the remote had a smart menu option, which was a bit odd. Zurich city area can be quite uneventful, so one or two nights here is enough. The in-room coffee machine looked promising at first but turned out to be faulty. When I asked the front desk, they said it needed time to heat up — even after an hour, it didn’t work. Thankfully, there was a hot water dispenser near the café in the lobby. Overall, the stay was acceptable — nothing fancy, but it does the job if you’re not expecting luxury.

Customer service was great, location is not the best but for its price it's good, very simple room that does the job, and no facilities. Gotta mention that there is another fancier Ibis on the same block and the map sent us there.

Hotel room was clean and modern. Customer service needs a lot of improvement, particularly a receptionist called Natasha. After collecting our luggages from the storage, I proceeded to asked her for the hotel room key as we have yet to check in. She then said ”she wouldn't know anything as I did not provide any details to her”. As a front desk staff, I would think it is part of your responsibility to maybe ask? On another occasion, I asked her if it was okay to get something delivered to the hotel tomorrow as I forgot something and needed it urgently. Her respond was ”Isn't it too late now that I ask her?” The look on her face was a look of annoyance. I told her I could cancel it if it wasn't allowed. Eventually, my item was not delivered as she probably did not cascade the information to the staff on duty the next day. Would appreciate if she could respond nicely, especially when you're in the service line. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with racism?? I've observed that she was very friendly and accomodate a guest of a different race whom asked her for a favour. If you'd like consistently good service, I'd suggest put your money elsewhere. The accomodation doesn't come cheap as well.

Renaissance Zurich Hotel, with its superior location, comfortable rooms, complete facilities and excellent service, has brought a perfect end to my trip to Zurich. I believe that whether it is a business trip or a leisure vacation, this is an excellent choice. Next time I come to Zurich, I will definitely choose here again and strongly recommend it to my friends!

1. It is a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, on a very quiet residential street, with a good location. 2. The room is OK, just right for three people. After all, it is a homestay, not as big as a hotel, and the price is there. A small kitchen and a dining table, it is quite convenient to cook some noodles, very practical. 3. We arrived at night, self check-in, it is very simple, check the email in the mailbox to open the key box, just enter the password to get the key. Remember to put the key in the check-out box (as shown in the second picture) when checking out, it is on the wall on the right hand side before leaving.

This hotel is perfectly located just across the road from the Sihqual Bus Terminal, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. I booked a day tour to Grindelwald and Interlaken, and it was an amazing experience (highly recommend!). There’s also a direct bus from the terminal to several famous attractions, which was a huge plus. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, spoke excellent English, and even offered free refreshments in the lobby. The rooms were spotlessly clean with a great shower system, and the soundproof doors and walls ensured a peaceful night’s sleep. With a supermarket and Starbucks right beneath the hotel, it’s one of the best stays I’ve had!
