Popular Zurich 4-star Hotels

The hotel is a little away from the center (15~20 min by tram), plus 4min walk to the station. The check-in was quick, although in proper Swiss fashion the check-in time is only at 3pm. Fortunately, we were allowed to move in earlier. The room is big enough, but if you have big suitcases it'll be a bit tight. The staff is courteous and helpful, and try to accommodate if they can. The breakfast selection isn't too wide, but it's well arranged and has most of what you'd expect. There's a proper gym (exceedingly rare) with enough equipment to satisfy all but the pros. However, it does get a bit busy at times. They also have a decent swimming pool. There's a workstation with a printer next to the reception that guests can use for free - perfect if you need to print out tickets. They were happy to hold our baggage after we moved out until our flight in the evening - much appreciated. We paid about 125CHF a night for a standard room for two including breakfast, which is a good deal in Zurich. All things considered, there's very little to complain about. We had an excellent stay, and would love to stay there again.

Hotel is very conveniently located near the main train station. Perfect for getting around and the are many food options within walking distance. Hotel is clean and good as well. Would recommend!

Room was clean and surroundings have plenty of food and shops. Supermarket is also a stone’s throw away. We got a nice view of the river. Only thing was we had to wait an hour before we could check in as the room wasn’t ready, but the staff compensated us with late check out the next day. No complaints other than that!

We loved our stay at the hotel wellenberg during our recent trip to Zurich, it was perfectly situated and a lovely spacious family room. The bathroom could use an update, which I’m sure is in the works, as one that I spotted by the elevator looked stunning! Our kids especially loved the family tv/gaming room and special mention must be made of the lovely front desk staff and Ruth at breakfast who was absolutely charming. We would definitely return again on our next trip to Zurich.

Good location, only 20 minutes walking from the main train station and 9 minutes in public transport with several options to travel around the city. They allow you to use their microwave and kitchenware if you bring your own food. Breakfast does not worth for the price you paid. Highly recommended if you are coming to Zurich for few days.

It‘s good. The environment is good. The room is a little small but cost-effective.

Staff were very nice. But the rooms smelled with body odors. The pillows and bed itself smelled bad. Shower ceiling had fugues and mold. Elevator can only fit 3 adults.

The room is super beautiful. The three large windows can see the city and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. The facilities are very good and new, and the hygiene is very good. The parking space is difficult to enter, the entrance is very narrow and the parking space is not large.

Just have to walk for around 10 minutes to arrive the hotel from the Zurich HB station. The room is clean and the staffs are very nice. They are very willing to help you. Nice experience there!

The room is 30 square meters, which is quite large in a four-star hotel in Europe. The location is very advantageous. It takes only three or four minutes to walk to Bahnhofstrasse and 7-8 minutes to walk to the central station. It only took about ten minutes to drive from Zurich Airport to the hotel on the first night. The waiters all greeted us with a smile, and we felt at home. It is worth mentioning that every evening at five or six o'clock, they would take the initiative to ask if we need coffee or tea delivered to the room. If we refuse, they would send small candies or chocolates to us. Although it is a small thing, it reflects the hotel's attentiveness. I will stay again in a week and add a comment then.
