The hotel is an amazing place with high standards of service and located in a historic setting and beautiful environs. Quality of the meals is excellent, and the rooms are well-designed and rather spacious. There is a nice pool area and also a small wellness centre. Ample parking in front of the hotel. Front desk is friendly, welcoming and service-minded. Only minus is the lack of an elevator, which is hard to realize I understood because the hotel is a monumental building subject to strict construction regulations. However, more communication would be possible on their website on this, as this could benefit potential guests. For my wife, access to the room was a bit of a struggle as she was using crutches due to a foot injury. Other than that, I would highly recommend the Fasanerie.
