Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
The desert west of Hurghada is part of the Sahara Desert, with gentle sand dunes and magnificent desert landscapes. Riding a camel, visitors can go deep into the heart of the desert and feel the ruggedness and vastness of the desert. This experience is in sharp contrast to the tenderness of the beach, which will bring alternative excitement and enjoyment. During the camel ride, visitors can also establish a close relationship with these gentle animals. Some camels are trained to obey commands and interact with tourists, adding to the fun of riding. This experience not only allows visitors to gain an in-depth understanding of the desert culture and the Bedouin lifestyle, but also brings unforgettable memories and feelings.

Sahara desert Egypt world’s largest desert .

#desert The Sahara Desert is the largest desert in the world. It is located in North Africa. It can be seen in Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, etc. This time we came to the Sahara Desert in Egypt. The first time I heard about the Sahara Desert was because of Sanmao. Many people think that the Sahara Desert is dirty, poor and deserted, but Sanmao lives a wonderful life here. The Sahara Desert under her pen is like a fairyland on earth, and even her wedding with her lifelong love Jose is held here. We entered the Sahara Desert from Hurghada, Egypt, experienced camel riding, off-road vehicles, sand skiing and other places, visited the local ancient tribes, and also felt the sunset in the desert. We were very satisfied. People are really very small in front of nature.

First Impressions of Egypt: Cairo and Hurghada

First Impressions of Egypt: Cairo and Hurghada

Day 1: After a long 12-hour flight, we finally arrived in Cairo. Without rest, we immediately started our Cairo itinerary. Our first stop was the museum. The collection was extensive, and the museum was crowded. Two hours was too rushed; we only had time to see some representative collections. At noon, under the scorching sun, we arrived at the famous Giza pyramid complex. The endless yellow sand hides countless unknown stories. Day 2: After a night of rest, we set off for Hurghada. The six-hour drive felt like an eternity. I strongly recommend that independent travelers choose to fly. The tour guide kept promoting optional paid activities along the way, and we decided to participate in some, after all, the driver and tour guide worked very hard. After arriving, we quickly changed into our swimsuits and went on a glass-bottom boat. The Red Sea is a deep blue, different from the jelly-like sea of Semporna. The variety of marine life is also very limited. We often encountered jellyfish while snorkeling, but fortunately, they were not poisonous. The crew enthusiastically made me a very Egyptian hat and scarf out of a towel. The glass-bottom boat experience was quite good overall.

I quit my job this year and secretly went to Africa for two months.

I quit my job this year and secretly went to Africa for two months.

My friends asked me: "Of all the countries you've visited, which one do you love the most?" Without hesitation: "Iceland and Egypt." One is like a prism left by God on earth, where the flowing silence on the tundra can seep into your soul, and the aurora and glaciers strike the heart of an INFP. Here, time flows through me, but it doesn't engulf me. The other is the remnants of a civilization chewed up and spat out by history—ancient Egypt, founded in 3100 BC, yet in the successive conquests of Greece, Rome, and Arabia, its hieroglyphs and civilization were shattered into the sands of the Sahara. It's decadent, lost, and full of deception, but beneath the layers of deceit lies a certain innocent kindness. On my first day in Cairo, I was given a harsh lesson by Vodafone's inconsistent pricing. Fruit vendors smiled kindly while attracting customers, but then conveniently "forgot" to give me my change. I agreed on a price with an Uber driver, only to have him demand an extra 20% halfway through the trip. At that point, I swore to the Nile: "If I get scammed again, I'm a dog!" But at the same time, it's also full of warmth. Cairo is one of the most welcoming cities I've ever encountered. As an Asian face, the turning heads rate was 100%. I conservatively estimate that I shook hands, posed for photos, and forced smiles no less than 108 times. Strolling through the streets, I observed that their staple food is a kind of flatbread. I looked it up and it's called pita bread, yes, the🥙, the inspiration for Apple's emoji. Locals can wrap anything in pita bread. Let me put it this way: breakfast is pickled vegetables + fried falafel wrapped in pita, lunch is a "Middle Eastern taco" stuffed with grilled liver and onions, and dinner might be a plate of stew—with the pita bread casually tossed on the table like a rag. But after drizzling it with lime juice and sprinkling it with coarse salt, it surprisingly evokes a kind of primal joy. I highly recommend the prickly pear fruit! After the skin is peeled off, the fruit is as sweet as the lovechild of a kiwi and a fig. Three for 10 Egyptian pounds, which made me, someone who was once ripped off by 8-euro orange juice in France, want to cry tears of joy. One night, on the desert highway, we were heading to a friend's house to cook. After hitching a ride in a car, the white-robed driver smiled at us and disappeared into the night. Not to mention the restaurant owner who insisted on stuffing dates into my bag. But what touched me the most was in Hurghada, when I was sailing on the Red Sea, hands gripping the deck, about to throw up, a group of women in headscarves🧕gathered around to check on me. In the end, I received a piece of gum passed around by everyone—it was them who made me realize that the "bad" in Egypt is a clearly priced game of survival, while the "good" is like a wet towel suddenly offered in a sandstorm, unexpected and free of charge. Of course, there were also moments of breakdown: In Egypt, a guesthouse owner almost left me stranded by reselling my room, and in Kenya, I was threatened by a black cab driver with "Pay more or I'll take you to the police station"... But thinking about these mishaps now actually makes me laugh. Perhaps this is the magic of Africa: When scammers and kind-hearted people are both stuffing gold into your arms, the rough edges of humanity become more addictive than perfection.

A Journey Through Egypt | Red Sea Glass-Bottom Boat & Snorkeling Experience!

A Journey Through Egypt | Red Sea Glass-Bottom Boat & Snorkeling Experience!

🛥️ | The hull of the boat cuts through the jelly-like, glassy sea, and fragmented golden light dances flamenco on the wave tips. Schools of neon-colored fish flash through the depths of the coral reefs, like enamel beads scattered from a pharaoh's necklace... 🪸 | The Red Sea is the northernmost coral reef area in the world, with large expanses of beautiful coral communities. The bottom deck of the glass-bottom boat is made of magnifying glass, and tourists from all over the world gather in this enclosed cabin to enjoy the view. The crew occasionally scatters fish food, attracting schools of fish. There's an adorable little boy next to me. 🤿 | I was worried that the weather would be too cold for snorkeling (believe it or not, I was wearing thermal leggings under my dress, along with my swimsuit👻)... Unexpectedly, it was quite warm at noon. The water was a bit chilly for the first two minutes, but after adjusting to the temperature, it was fantastic. I had a great time playing in the sun!

I could not make this trip without the deal I got by booking through #Trip.com. It was literally a bargain! #Egypt is known to be a very tourist place, and as such it can be quite expensive. But thanks to Trip.com I bought my tickets from London to Egypt (with return) and two domestic flights (from Cairo to Hurghada and From Aswan to Cairo) for less than £200 per person. So, what are you waiting for? This is the sign to go and book your next ticket to this amazing country through your Trip.com app.

A trip to the Red Sea in Hurghada, Egypt

A trip to the Red Sea in Hurghada, Egypt

💕'If you want to go fast, go alone, if you want to go far, go together', with the astonishing culinary skills of our companions, we stayed in Hurghada for 11 days and almost ate seafood for 11 days. It's not a dream to achieve seafood freedom at an average cost of thirty. 🌊This small seaside town on the Red Sea wins the favor of travelers with its high cost performance, such as: ✏Chasing dolphins & snorkeling at sea, 500 Egyptian pounds per person, including pick-up and lunch, chasing dolphins, two snorkeling, one sofa boat play project, the whole journey from eight or nine in the morning to three or four in the afternoon. ✏Yellow submarine, 200 Egyptian pounds per person, about two hours, similar to a glass boat to see fish, can also snorkel. ✏Submarine, a friend went, heard that there is only one in Egypt, so the price is firm. 1400 Egyptian pounds ✏Private beach, Hurghada is basically a paid beach, the ticket price is 50-150 Egyptian pounds unlimited time, including beach chairs, allow to bring drinks (we can) ✏Seafood market, the nearby mosque is a landmark building here, there is a paid processing in the market, of course, it is better to do it yourself, the cooking method here is indeed a bit wasteful of ingredients... Common fish 110 Egyptian pounds/kg Octopus 270 Egyptian pounds/kg Clams 80 Egyptian pounds/kg Small squid 160 Egyptian pounds/kg Dongxing grouper 200 Egyptian pounds/kg Eel 450 Egyptian pounds/kg Crab 40 Egyptian pounds Shrimp 290-310 Egyptian pounds/kg Scallops 80 Egyptian pounds/kg Lobster 450 Egyptian pounds/kg (three 270 Egyptian pounds look) *The above prices are for reference only in January 2024 📍tips: Hurghada can basically be divided into three areas, for the convenience of accommodation, it is recommended to stay near Marina, there are many choices of hotels, homestays and youth hostels. Gomla market for daily necessities and food shopping. City center has a Carrefour, a few clothing stores can be visited, nefertari has a booth, the price may be higher than Cairo, but the variety is complete.
