#weekendgetaways take a flight and fly to Seoul over the weekends Getting There - Myeongdong Subway station on Seoul Subway line No. 4 or subway line 2, Euljiro 1-ga Station shopping - a lot of shopping for the girls!! there’s a lot of street shopping as well as international brands. there are high end shopping like Chanel or Rolexes to affordable shopping like ABCmarts and street shopping where you can buy off push carts as well. skincare for the woman from olive young is really popular! cafes - there’s a cafe at every turn I love Seoul already! they accept both cash and card so shop away!

Onion? Onion

Went to the highly raved onion cafe in seoul. It took us 15-30 mins plus to get in and the staff were really nice. Food was amazing??!! The coffee is *chef kiss*, honestly so much better than sbux. They had a really nice range of interesting and creative pastries to try. Price wise; it isnt very expensive, comparable to usual cafe prices. To take note its really crowded as the anguk outlet is in the city and near major tourist attractions. The other is in a suburb (so its quieter). Recommend: If you enjoy cafe vibe, a foodie or just a curious cat. Do check them out. Cost: $$

Cafe Onion Anguk 🇰🇷

Cafe Onion is one of the most well-known cafes in Korea. This is the Cafe Onion Anguk. Cafe Onion Anguk has a traditional architecture with a mix of modern elements. Known as the mix of past and present. We ordered their iconic signature, pandoro. I didn't find anything special in it tho lol We also had dark chocolate & maldon salt, salty caramel cake, and Olive Bacon. The pizza is good, try it. Their coffee is regular, we had cafe latte and cappucino. Overall experience, 6/10. Getting there: The nearest subway station is Anguk Station on Line 3. It’s a short walk from Exit 2/3. #seoultrip

A shopping / food paradise in Myeongdong

Train station to Myeongdong,entire streets of little food stalls & clothes. Too much to choose on the street food,spending 3-4hours there walking around & ended with a full body massage in one of the traditional massage centre. #tripblazers #tripblog #newyearadventure #2023travelwish #mytripvlog

#hotelreview Address - 36 Sejong-daero 11-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul Ambiance/Facilities - swimming pool, mini cafe area within the hotel. small but mighty Highlights - 9.1 star on trip.com or agoda or maybe both! have high expectation of this place. feels like boutique hotel when I reach but the cleaniness for this place is too notch. very convenient location! p/s not good for room sharing. the toilet has no doors and shower area has only glass screen. the only door is AFTER the toilet area to the bedroom area. Avg. Price per Person - 300/room /night Rating - 4/5 bed and hygiene is on point.

Annyeonghaseyo (Hello) Seoul, Korea!

✈️From Kuala Lumpur to Seoul will took about 6hrs. Highlight of the trip: ❤️Nami Island: Absolutely beautiful no matter what time of the year you visit! You first need to purchase a ticket to to ride the ferry. The ferry is smooth with beautiful scenery. Once you arrive, you are free to explore. There is a really cool history about the island. Winter Sonata, a very famous K-drama was filmed there and they even have a statue for a photo opportunity. 🦀 King Crab: This is my first time eating such a big crab! I went to Noryangjin Fish Market through subway. Vendors offered with 60,000 to 35,000 won per kilo (2.2 lbs) for king crab. Price wise is quite expensive however the experience is even pricer! #solotravel

Welcome to Myeongdong and this is a top choice for tourists to stay and visit here. It is a vibrant district and it has so many shopping centers, restaurants, cafes and streetfood stalls. If you are first timer to Seoul, I will recommend you to stay at Myeondong. This is a large area and if you want o be near the bustling area, you will have to stay around Myeongdong station exit 4/5. Otherwise you can check the walking distance before you book another hotel within this area. There are also many airport bus coming to Myeongdong so it is easy to go to the airport. The collaboration with the popular K-pop group NewJeans added a fun twist, with bunny-shaped cakes that were a hit among visitors. Although the special bunny cake had sold out, I enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and innovative treats on display. The interior, designed by Gentle Monster, was visually striking, making it a perfect spot for photos. Overall, Nudake Seongsu offers a fantastic blend of creativity and flavor, making it a must-visit in Seoul. My rating: 4.5 ⭐️ out of 5!

🇰🇷 Myeongdong BBQ

A great place to have my super after late night shopping at Myeongdong. In Myeongdong, you can always get away with mandarin as most staff here are Chinese or they speak Chinese. Also, this is a tourist area and most of the menu has English and Chinese translation. So it is always easy to shop and eat in Myeongdong. This restaurant serves all the standard Korean food and the staff is kind enough to suggest I order the bulgogi instead of the pork belly bbq. She was also afraid I couldn't finish the pork belly by myself. Please grant my wish to revisit Seoul in 2023! #2023travelwish #mytripvlog #seoul #korea
