Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate

Nanjing is the only city in the world where wild finless porpoises have a stable habitat in the Yangtze River section of the main urban area. The Yangtze finless porpoise, known as the "smiling elf", is a national first-class protected animal. Its population has increased from about 50 in 2017 to 65 in 2024, with remarkable protection results. The best viewing period is from September to March of the following year, when the finless porpoises are active, especially in the early morning from 6:00 to 9:00 and in the evening from 16:30 to 17:00. It is recommended to go to the Yangtze River Smile Station, Yuzui Wetland Park, Zhongshan Wharf and other observation points on the Gulou Riverside. You can take a boat or wait on the shore and use a telescope to capture the agile moments of the porpoises breathing and jumping into the water.

Usnisa Palace 🇨🇳 Nanjing-Niushoushan

Usnisa Palace 🇨🇳 Nanjing-Niushoushan

A mountain top surprise!!! When we went to Niushoushan for the afternoon we had no knowledge of what we would find apart from being able to see a large temple and pagoda on the route to the summit. However once we reached the top we saw the domed roof of the Usnisa place, still we had no idea what the building was or what it contained. Once we went inside we travelled down what felt like endless escalators, until we reached the vast prayer room, filled with ornate statues and people worshiping and singing. Around the outside layer are thousands of small Buddah and as you climb back up through the palace you can look out from the many balconies. To get to the Palace, you'll need to taxi to the Niushoushan Scenic area and walk to the summit, lots of the steeper parts of the walk have escalators.

Nanjing! Tangshan! A private hot spring in every room is next level.

Who understands? 🥹 I didn't go anywhere else! Just in Nanjing! ✨ Private hot spring ✨ Nordic wood style ✨ Detached villa It's really suitable to soak in a private hot spring and relax when the temperature drops ☺️ - ✔️ Nordic wood style design I love the overall style of the homestay! It has the gentle water town atmosphere of Jiangnan 🌿 The panoramic floor-to-ceiling glass windows have good lighting, so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery while soaking in the hot spring 🏞️ And it has a giant screen projector 🎬, the high-definition picture quality is definitely not inferior to a private cinema - ✔️ Pure natural hot spring is super comfortable Real spring water ♨️! It has a strong sulfur smell, and it only takes 8 minutes to fill the water. It's especially pleasant for two people to soak together 🥰~ Tangshan Hot Spring is really amazing! It is rich in more than 30 minerals, and your body will be smooth after soaking 🥳 - ✔️ The service is impeccable They also gave us a few masks of their own brand when we arrived at the store Afternoon tea and welcome fruit 🍉 are all arranged! Thanks to the housekeeper sister, she also upgraded our room type 🔝!

Snow in Nanjing ❄️

Getting snowfall in Nanjing is very less and happens once or twice in a year. The mountains are the most beautiful in Nanjing while snowing ❄️🗻. But if you don't want to hike or need some places with easy access then you can consider Confucius temple area, Nanjing 1912 block and Xuanwu lake in Downtown. The pictures I have attached are from Confucius temple and 1912 block. Getting there: Nearest metro station to Confucius temple area is Fuzimiao and Nanjing 1912 block is Daxingong 🚇. All these places are of free entrance and very close to the metro stations #snow #nanjing #travelinspiration #nanjing

Nanjing! A budget-friendly hotel worth a second visit! It's so nice to stay here!

Nanjing! A budget-friendly hotel worth a second visit! It's so nice to stay here!

Ritz-Carlton Nanjing Experience: Luxury and Warmth Combined I heard that the Ritz-Carlton Nanjing is the benchmark for Ritz-Carlton hotels in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai area, so I decided to give it a try. The room rate was over CNY 2,400 per night, plus over CNY 1,000 for the executive lounge. Although the price was not low, it included five meals and an additional 10,000 points, which made it a great choice for a relaxing staycation. So I went for it! 💰️Average Spend The overall cost was high, with a room rate of over CNY 2,400 plus over CNY 1,000 for the executive lounge. However, it included a wide range of dining services, making it a worthwhile experience for those seeking a high-quality hotel experience. 🏘️️️Room Type/Layout The room I stayed in had a reasonable layout and was spacious and comfortable, meeting the needs of a vacation. Although the unique design of the room type was not specifically mentioned, the overall living experience was comfortable, with soft mattresses and pillows ensuring a good night's sleep, just like at the Hyatt Regency Jeju Island, providing a comfortable sleep experience. 🛌Supplies/Facilities The room was equipped with Diptyque toiletries, my favorite fig scent, leaving a pleasant fragrance on my body after use. Two sets of pajamas were also thoughtfully prepared, with attention to detail. However, the hairdryer was not a Dyson, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel's executive lounge offered executive privileges, including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner (happy hour), and evening sweet wine and desserts. The quality of the dishes was higher than other hotels, especially the unlimited supply of 5J ham for dinner, which was of excellent quality. If you need salmon, just ask the staff. The hotel's car service was very thoughtful. You can make a reservation by calling from your room, and it will be arranged within five minutes. Before getting in the car, the seat heating and massage were preheated, and hot towels were prepared for hand wiping. The driver was very enthusiastic and introduced many Nanjing specialties along the way. The pool facilities were also good, although the pool and changing room were not connected, which was slightly inconvenient. The difference in indoor temperature and water temperature required some courage to get into the water, but it did not affect the overall swimming experience. 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness The room and public areas were clean and tidy, with good soundproofing, allowing for a quiet rest in the room without being disturbed by the outside world. 💗Other Tips 1. Welcome Gift: The hotel's welcome gift was sincere, with the room decorated with roses and chocolates, fruits, and a handwritten greeting card. During turndown service, I met the floor manager who personally wrote a greeting card, and there were also Nanjing postcards and bookmarks, which were great for souvenirs. 2. Little Lion Plush Toy: Before checking in, I informed the hotel that it was an anniversary with my boyfriend and hoped to receive a little lion plush toy. At first, there was none in the room, which was a bit disappointing. Later, I went to the 40th-floor spa center and bought a salted duck little lion. Due to some small incidents, the hotel gave me a Confucius little lion, unexpectedly completing the collection of two styles, making up for the previous disappointment. 3. Location Advantage: The hotel is located in Deji, with a very advantageous location, making shopping very convenient and not far from attractions. Deji Plaza is large, with a full range of brands, providing a great shopping experience. 4. Executive Lounge Experience: The executive lounge offers a wide range of dining services, but after eating a lot, the taste may seem similar. If you haven't experienced the over CNY 1,000 executive lounge service, you can try it once, but in terms of cost-effectiveness, it may not be particularly high. Overall, the Ritz-Carlton Nanjing was decent, with a noticeable sense of sincerity and dedication from the hotel. The hotel's style and decor were of high quality, making it an unforgettable hotel experience.

Who booked a satisfactory hotel in Nanjing?

Who booked a satisfactory hotel in Nanjing?

Who booked a satisfactory hotel in Nanjing? The room is spacious, and the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet. The environment is good, and the room was very clean. The hotel is easy to find. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor. It's conveniently located about 11 minutes by taxi from Zhongguoyaoke Daxue Subway Station. There are many restaurants and eateries nearby, including hot pot restaurants, regular restaurants, street food stalls, snack bars, and more. The hotel breakfast is really great, with a wide variety of options. The white fungus soup is especially good, with a light red date aroma. It's very comforting to drink in the morning.

Hanzhong Gate | Yulan Magnolia

Hanzhong Gate | Yulan Magnolia

| Yulan Magnolia. The 600-year-old city wall of Hanzhong Gate, adorned with Yulan magnolias, offers a different charm than the glazed beauty of Chaotian Palace. The scenery here is more rustic and mellow. 🌸 The red Yulan magnolias at Hanzhong Gate are 50% in bloom, with the rest still in bud. The white Yulan magnolias have not yet bloomed, possibly due to sunlight. Unlike the magnolias at 1865, which are already half withered, the ones at Hanzhong Gate are expected to last until next weekend.
