We stayed here before and after a three day tour into the rainforest to see orangutans in wildlife. The hotel is nicely located between airport and city center. It is about a 2km walk to the yellow Palace and waterfront city. The walk along the street is a bit unconvenient but doable. There are no taxis at night so plan carefully. The hotel itself offers spacious rooms with AC. The rooms are a bit outdated from European perspective but I have seen far older furniture and bathrooms and far more expensive hotels in the US and elsewhere. For the price, the rooms are more than you can expect. Breakfast was included and offers mostly indonesian food. There is also a cafe/restaurant offering western food. Overall, we would choose this hotel again for a stay in the area.

The room is clean, just the tv remote is broken, the ac comes out of water so it floods until the bathroom door and the underwater entrance of the sink but overall good and decent

Beautiful and clean hotel with a very friendly staff. The tvs in the room are a bit small and the wifi needs a little boost. The food is delicious whether ordering room service or eating in the dinning area. Have stayed at this hotel several times and plan to use again in the future.

We had best experience with Hotel NEO Palma Palangkaraya. Super helpful staff and amazing service. From room service to kitchen staff and reception staff everyone was so pleasing. The lobby is beautiful with marvelous staff to greet you. The room is very new and clean. We ordered seafood for dinner Bbq fish, prawn, squid , tofu and Chinese green … kudos to the chef, we will certainly coming back to this hotel, next time around.

Compare to other SwissBell Hotel we have ever been, here the staffs were not friendly or helpful. We've informed our kids will have coloring activity, but it turned out none. The front desk told me the coloring will start at 2pm, which means the next day of check in. My kids were sad so I asked if I can just get the printable paper so we can bring it home. Unfortunately they said they can't give it. We travelled for 5 hrs and promised the kids will have those benefit, but none. I remember when we went to SwissBell Balikpapan, when my kid's baloon popped-out, and they feel sad, the staff even brought them new baloons to our room to make them happy. Here's the opposite, they didn't even care for what they have promised on the day of your arrival. For our weekend family staycation as a parent, I would never stay here again

I stayed here with my wife back in March 2019. I stayed in suite on top floor. This is my second time to Palangkaraya. It was a nice sized room with a king sized bed. I had friends over and there was plenty of room. The food at the restaurant was good, I ate dinner and breakfast there. The people working in restaurant had limited English skills but with my basic Bahasa, I was fine. The staff were always friendly and helpful. I am coming back to Palangkaraya in June, and I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here during our business trip to PKY Airport. The dishes served during sahur is good, just like the breakfast menus. Room (single bed) adequate for personal. Choose the room with view to the street to get the sunlight into you room. Airport shuttle is available on request. It takes 10-15 minutes to the airport (9 km). Price is standard. A lot of restaurants around the hotel.
