The stay at the service apartments were disappointing and below expectations. My friends and I did not have a good sleep because of the prayer chanting that starts everyday 430-5am, it is very loud and everyone was awoken by it. On top of that, there was a dead cockroach in the corner of the room. Even after house keeping the cockroach was still there. We had to call the lobby to come clean up. One of our friends’ room also had a smell in the apartment, the door was not working very well and the fridge and aircon was also not cold. We requested for a change of room on the last day however the new room was worst, there was a loud buzzing sound coming from the toilet light where left on. Overall, I was quite disappointed with the stays at the service apartments. But the service provided by the staff were okay and acceptable at the least. The location is also not too bad and accessible to most places. I would rate overall 3.5/5.

Loved the close proximity this hotel is to Grand Batam Mall the newest and amazing mall in Batam! Food, fun, shopping aplenty to do there. Just 5 minutes walk away. A couple of popular cafes in the same area but it was pouring the past few days we were there so we couldn’t walk around much. The road at the entrance was a little muddy and bumpy cos of the rain but there were staff there to assist us. Took a lift upstairs to the lobby for check in, quick and efficient. Requested high floor but it wasn’t available but that’s fine. Room is huge and comfortable. Bed was not as soft as we wished for. Toilet is spacious with shower and rain shower. Only downside was the cleanliness of the towels. Looks yellowish and not very clean. Right opposite theres a massage place RE and it was really clean and relaxing as we did our aromatherapy scrub, Balinese massage as well as hair wash and head massage for just $50+ for 2 hours. Taxis are affordable and usually only takes 2-3 minutes for a car to arrive. Went to Nagoya Hill to walk walk see see and ate at Warung Guling Pak Made and we loved it! And also took taxi to the Blue Fire Beach club which is next to Atlantis and Deep Sea.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Staff was welcoming and helpful, providing all the necessary information about the hotel amenities and nearby attractions. The hotel also offers pick up and transfer when you arrive and depart from ferry terminal.  The room itself was clean and well-appointed, featuring comfortable bedding and a modern design. The view from my room was a lovely bonus, adding to the overall ambiance of my stay.  One of the highlights was the hotel’s breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of options, from fresh fruits to hot dishes. The location of the hotel was also a plus, there’s  a nearby restaurant.  I would recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The friendly staff and convenient location made my trip a memorable one. I look forward to returning in the future!

The cleanliness of the property was excellent and ensuring a pleasant and hygienic environment throughout my stay.

We booked a triple room for ourselves. The room is spacious and has a balcony too. We were allocated a room on the 9th floor which gives us a good view of Batam city. It would be better to get a room on a higher level as the noise from the vehicles passing by the main road can be disturbing at night. The swimming pool, gym, sauna room and steam bath room are also great for relaxation. Planet Holiday hotel is located nearby to Nagoya Mall and Grand Batam Mall. The hotel also provides shuttle bus services to the malls during Fridays and Saturdays. Traveling around Batam Island is convenient using Grab car service. The breakfast spread is also reasonably good.

As seen from reviews, we drop by a supermarket stocked up before dropping at the wonderful resort. Everything here is good but aging but the rooms are well maintained. When we reached, we were given a choice paid to upgrade to Tirta beach side. Which is the better side. Loved the island bar during evening but the menu is limited, so is the over price japanese restaurant and the main restaurant. Only thing good was it open 24HRs and the food / B'fast was just OK. The only Mart was not opened. Maybe it's open only on weekends. During low tide you could see alot of crabs n fishies. I advise you to visit a supermarket before you check in and check with them about what activity you are kin to do.

The hotel location is very convenient to travellers. Enjoyed our stay very much. The staff’s are friendly and accommodating. First time i saw a performance during breakfast buffet it was pleasant to see, and all the staff’s and clients were all dancing. Definitely will come again next time and will suggest to our friends😃

I had a great stay and good night sleep , good location with many eateries, massage centre and spa , money changer, walking distance to Nagoya hill mall and the breakfast is widely spread although the western selection is limited, they provide basic amenities such as slippers, toothbrush , shampoo and soap , water bottle and hairdryer, also has deposit box even small fridge, good value for money if you are on budget, I will definitely comeback and book again in the next visit and will recommend this hotel .

However, the air conditioning was a major downside. It was not cold enough, and even after requesting a technician (who took 30 minutes to arrive), the issue was not resolved. Our first night was uncomfortably warm, making it difficult to sleep. Thankfully, it rained on the second day, which helped cool down the room naturally. I stayed in Room 803, which had convenient access to the pool and buffet breakfast. However, if you prefer a cold room and love using a duvet, I’d recommend avoiding this room. Another unpleasant experience was during check-out—I noticed a foul smell, similar to a sump pit, near the elevator and on the first floor. It was quite off-putting as I was leaving the hotel. Overall, Oakwood Hotel Batam has some great aspects, but the air conditioning issue and the unpleasant smell during check-out left a negative impression. If these issues are addressed, it could be a much better stay.

We had a fantastic 4-day, 3-night family getaway at this resort! Our kids (6 & 8) loved the facilities, including the kids' club (complimentary, though optional activities come with a fee) and pools (both our villa's and the beach bar tiigo's). The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff going above and beyond. While the location was out in the middle of seemingly nowhere, and cleanliness was good but not perfect, the exceptional service and facilities made up for it. The prices for food and activities are high and very much resort priced (around Singapore pub prices for drinks and food), but you have to option to order food delivery via Grabfood (collect from main lobby) so you can pick and choose. Seafood dinner at Pantai restaurant was good. Enjoyed the spa wellness programmes too, but again, very pricey. All said though, we wish we had more days there to try out all the family and outdoor activities, and we'd definitely recommend and return!

Have a memorable experience staying in Brevely Hotel Batam on my recent trip with friends. Must say room is huge for deluxe King and staff are super friendly.Daily breakfast with average options but food are delicious.unfortunatly pool is under renovation. Overall is a present stay in this hotel will surely recommend friends to experience the stay

Room was as per photo in Trip Website, so its a nice Grand Executive with King bed. Facilities was good nice food around the hotel as well. Overall Great value for money, will stay again

The location of the hotel is good with many amenities and eateries around.. it’s very near to Nagoya Shopping mall. The hotel’s breakfast needs improvement. Varieties are little and some are cold. It’s kinda noisy in the morning if you stay at low level. Around 8am, it’s kinda busy and noisy downstairs. It may disturb your sleep in the morning.. or even the rest of the day.. Overall, the stay is still quite ok.not a super good one but still acceptable with the amount paid.

Nice hotel and friendly customer service. Breakfast so good with a lot of varieties. Grab are so much easier and fast. Can short cut to Nagoya but the slope staircase not convenient but you can also go short cut by the road side very near. During CNY we received orange and packet ang pow with notes and token $$ for luck.

We are family of 4 (2 adult & 2 kids age 11 & 12). We requested for connection room, but we were so surprised that the hotel only have 2 connection room which is at level non-smoking room and level smoking room. We stayed 4D3N and we have to separate the kids sleep with us each other's. Firstly, they sent us to level 5, the window facing building opposite the hotel look like empty and running down, so scary so i asked them to change for us, lucky they still have available room for us at level 3 facing the road. The food was ok ok for me and family. every day different kinds of food. but not much western choices. The room was spaces and have kind of smell, maybe the carpet smell. but ok still acceptable. The service was good. asking for extra pillow, rubbish plastic, clean the room change the bed sheet etc. The location walking distant to Nagoya Hill Mall. Took grab to BCC mall, Mega Mall all nearby. Grab/gojek is so fast and Easy in Batam. It a good experience for us. after all we did have fun in Batam.

Just got back from a stay at the Holiday Inn Resort, and I had a great time! The service was awesome, and the staff were super friendly—really made me feel at home. The swimming pool and all the amenities were on point. I loved hanging out by the pool! And let me tell you, the Indonesian food was fantastic. I can't recommend it enough! I’m planning come back in future.

Perfect quiet side of Bintan, luxury and spacious villa room - Upper Garden. Free pickup at ferry terminal. All front desk requests made via WhatsApp or room phone. Super fast response!! Facilities were practical like bicycles per villa, gym, spa, kids playhouse, water sports and 3 dining restaurants for selection. Bed was medium firm, clean bathtub, good water pressure for standing rain shower, attached hairdryer was all great! Buggy service to get around by dialing 0. Custom text bed decor and turn down service available for free. Recommend for couples! Good breakfast with live stations - egg station, waffle pancake station, noodles station, bubur station (congee). Free activities like towel art, Farm animals feeding - rabbit and chicken. Pool was clean, no leaves/sand. Baby wading pool available too. Pool bar menu was good with live band nights. Indonesian cuisine at Rica Rica is highly recommended. Can skip Rimbun Grill, our chicken was overdone. Superb getaway for 2 nights!!! Singaporean approved!

The resort is conveniently located very close to the ferry terminal, making it easy to reach. Upon arrival at the terminal, a bus service is provided to bring us directly into the resort,. We were pleasantly surprised to be allowed an earlier check-in at around 12 PM, even though the official check-in time was 3 PM. This thoughtful gesture set the tone for our stay and allowed us to settle in comfortably without any delays. The service at the resort was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly, prompt, and went the extra mile to ensure we felt welcomed and well-cared for. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with anything we needed truly stood out. We stayed in a glamping room that was spacious, clean, and equipped with air conditioning. Despite it being the rainy and windy monsoon season, there were no issues with leaks, and the room remained cozy. However, it’s important to note that the glamping tents are not soundproof. We could hear people talking outside and the sound of the tent shaking during strong winds. Treasure Bay Bintan offers a variety of facilities and activities, and we had an entire day to enjoy everything it had to offer.However due to the rain, we could not do all of the activities and think that visiting during the dry season might be a better option. One of the highlights of our stay was the tent-side BBQ. Unfortunately, due to the rain, we couldn’t BBQ the food ourselves, but the resort accommodated us by preparing the BBQ in the restaurant and serving it to us. The food was delicious, but the portions were quite generous—enough to serve up to three people per two sets(Do take note the minimum order has to be two sets). Overall we are very happy with the service provided to us!

The property has lots of potential and service staff have wonderful attitude. it just opened in Oct, so not everything is fully up just yet. It was generally a nice stay but several small disappointments added up and we conclude we would stay elsewhere if we returned to Bintan (although probably not soon). - we were fortunate to get the room early at check-in (~1230pm) cos the room was ready. - F&B team had the most hiccups. we had late lunch on the first day - the restaurant was not busy but they could not cope with orders. we waited over 40mins and other tables that came later were served before us. food was not even piping hot when it arrived, which is weird—was it sitting around and just not served?? - subsequent days’ breakfast at the same and only restaurant also always had something up. e.g. long waits, forgotten orders, and when we asked about items, two of them would turn up. that said, all the staff were super nice, and we’re grateful — albeit still disappointed. - the room was very pretty but there’s an impractical design flaw on the hanging lamp on the bedside. it rattles every now and then due to the AC. i ignored it fine but it drove my husband mad 😅 he had to cushion it with a hand towel. - the in-room phone was also strange. we had to try many times to dial ‘0’ for guest services — there’s no other number to call. it sometimes sounded like it was ringing/connecting but nothing was happening. - housekeeping didn’t clean our room the whole time we were out on day 2. only came when we were back resting at 5+pm. - indigo doesn’t allow sharing of facilities with sister hotel, which frankly is a missed opportunity these days. i’ve lost count of the number of resorts who do it and market it as a plus point. it almost seems weird that they don’t when it’s virtually connected to IHG. - hadn’t realise this but they don’t brand themselves as a family hotel so there’s no kids club. don’t pick this place if u need a place to entertain your kids. i was surprised that a beach resort didn’t have a kids club 😆 - the hotel wanted to impose a surcharge on my 5yo who was sharing the same room same bed and not (in my opinion) consuming significantly more resources than another guest who may have been just a couple without a kid. we’ve been to many other properties that brag a “kids stay free” concept unless u ask for an extra pullaway bed. anyways, while the charge is relatively common, when asked about what the charge goes toward, the explanation i was offered was weak. and after the stay, all the more i didn’t feel there was much to justify this so called additional charge.

We booked the BRF ferry and arrive Bintan in an hour. When arrive, they have someone to to pick us from the ferry terminal by bus. It takes about 15 mins to arrive the resort. The room was ready to checked in when we arrived. We have 2 bedrooms and the rooms are clean. The food in the hotel is good but Singapore price. Anyway if want to relax and do nothing, this is the best place to go.

Overall a pretty decent stay. We super love the service and friendliness of the staff. Very accommodating to all of our requests and many last minute changes. The room is quite clean and the aircon is super strong. Very convenient to have the pool outside, good privacy while you take a dip/play in the water. They have Netflix, Disney+, etc but you need to sign in to your account. Downside is we are disconnected to the signal/no internet for the TV. Ended up using our phones to watch shows.

3D2N stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Complimentary shuttle bus to hotel & ferry terminal. Excellent services from all Natra Bintan hotel's staff, they were so warm & welcoming! Our room was decorated & a slice of cake was provided. Breakfast spread was gd & delicious, room was clean, staffs always make up room daily so if you do not want to make up room better put the ”Do not disturb” sign on door handle. Cannot hear neighbours, but you do hear aeroplane flying noise in the middle of night, birds chipping at 6am plus so if you are a light sleeper then you might find it hard to get a gd sleep. Hotel provides buggy services to bring us to room, different parts of Treasure Bay. 20% off activities at Treasure Bay for being Natra guests. Only 3 restaurants which are at Natra, Anmon & Treasure Bay activity centre. Had western lunch at Anmon hotel once but food was average, Natra's food was much better. Will definitely consider Natra for our next Bintin trip due to the excellent staffs!

We enjoyed the trip. Stay at the hotel was comfortable but there was very little consideration for elderly & disabled guests. To supplement that, all the staff were friendly, helpful and very polite. Few things that could be better although they are good: 1. All white towels that were provided should be brilliant white in colour for confidence to use it safely. 2. At breakfast, bread could be fresher than dried out. Pulut Hitam buboh could be served warm. Otherwise there was a good spread of food. 3. Outside at the entrance to the road, a short ramp would be helpful for elderly & disabled guests. Food was tasty & presented well. Thanks Vijaya

My husband & I enjoyed our 4 days & 3 nights stay at Nirwana Resort for my Birthday Celebration. The staff gave me a surprise birthday cake while having a buffet breakfast at their Cafe restaurant. Our room was spotlessly clean, the staff were very friendly & accommodating to our request. I feel totally relaxed, renewed & recharged during our stay. Sunset was truly mesmerizing while savouring our diner at Kelong Restaurant. I will recommend this resort for those who want to be away from the hustle and bustle of city life and experience the tranquility & serenity of this Island. We will surely come back again.
