The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from Tenjin Station. The facilities are also very new and modern, and there's a dedicated lounge perfect for dining or catching up on work, with complimentary coffee available. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Fukuoka.
The hotel offers comprehensive facilities, and the room was equipped with an air purifier. It was quite clean and surprisingly spacious. The location is excellent, being close to Watanabedori Subway Station and popular attractions such as Tenjin Underground Shopping Center and Canal City Hakata. There's a 7-Eleven and a sizable supermarket right outside, which makes buying breakfast and fruits very convenient. The hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor and is quite spacious. When I accidentally scalded my hand with hot water, the front desk staff immediately provided an ice pack for prompt treatment. I really appreciated their quick assistance.

We booked double bed room , small room but still able to put two large luggage’s .
Was surprised it provides Refa hair dryer and washing amenities. There are green tea bag and others necessities too.
Lobby provide coffee for guests , in case u over bought souvenirs or shopping, able to buy carton from hotel and packed in a carton . Location was near to Hakata station about 5-7 minutes.
The hotel situated at the train track near by , so the hotel room able to hear the train pass by sound . We stay 4 nights and I am a light sleeper . Fortunately, I was able to sleep well ….maybe it stops after midnight and it operate early morning, we had gone out for outing and shopping , so it does not affect us . Will sure put under my list for next visit.
The room was clean and tidy, with excellent hygiene standards that made me feel at ease. The hotel’s location is extremely convenient—close to subway stations, restaurants, and convenience stores—making it ideal for independent travelers. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and both check-in and check-out went smoothly. They were also happy to assist with any questions.
The room came equipped with a washing machine and microwave, which is especially useful for longer stays or travelers who need to do laundry. The Wi-Fi was stable, suitable for both work and entertainment.
Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, with well-rounded facilities and attentive service. It’s a solid choice for solo travelers or business trips.

Check-in was at 3 PM. We registered, dropped off our bags, and went out to explore. When we returned, we simply collected our room key, as our suitcases had already been delivered to our room. The hotel was very clean, and the hot spring bath was wonderfully relaxing. There are ice machines and drink vending machines available on three floors within the building. A great example of their excellent service was when I accidentally left my sunglasses after checking out; the hotel staff kept them safe until I could retrieve them.
The hotel's location is fantastic. It's surrounded by affordable restaurants like Kura Sushi (conveyor belt sushi), Matsuya, and Matsunoya. Popular ramen spots like Ichiran are also just a short walk away. The airport line subway station is incredibly convenient, only about 100 meters from the hotel – it's just four stops to the airport and two stops to Hakata. Tenjin, with restaurants like Shin-Shin ramen and a Uniqlo store, is also just a ten-minute walk away.

My experience from check-in to check-out was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located, about a 7-8 minute walk from the JR station. The walk there is pleasant, with coffee shops, bakeries, and a FamilyMart along the way. It truly is a peaceful oasis despite its central location. There's a small public space right outside the entrance, and two more coffee shops/bakeries just downstairs.
The mattress was very comfortable, but the pillows were a bit too flat, offering no bounce or support.
Getting here from Fukuoka Airport was quick, about a 10-minute taxi ride.
Complimentary facial cleanser and lotion samples were available for self-service at the front desk.
I had informed them in advance via email that it was my birthday on the check-in day, and the front desk staff were wonderful and upgraded my room. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation.
Overall, a fantastic hotel!
The location is incredibly convenient, right next to the subway station. It's also just a short walk to the canal-side night market, which was a great bonus. We even happened to catch the annual Yamakasa Festival, making the whole area incredibly lively and vibrant! The only minor drawback was that the room felt a bit damp. However, the buffet breakfast was quite good. Overall, a positive stay!
Great location right near to the subway and many eateries. Staff were friendly and helpful, and definitely no complaints about the room.
Appreciate the weighing scale too! Which let us make sure that our bags were not overweight. 😄
Absolutely thrilled! When I was booking, I saw the hotel was quite old, and some customer photos made me worry it might be run-down. I hesitated a lot, but its incredibly convenient location ultimately swayed me to book. Turns out, after checking in, it was far better than I ever expected!
First off, the location is unbeatable. You can take an elevator directly to the hotel from both the first and third floors of the train station. From the 7th-floor lobby, an escalator takes you straight down to Amu Mall. And especially in summer, being able to go in and out without ever stepping into the scorching sun? A true lifesaver!
Facilities: Not dated in the slightest; it doesn't show its age visually. While the rooms aren't huge and the amenities are simple, they are extremely clean, and the bed was very comfortable!
Service: Excellent and very friendly. Self-service luggage storage is also available, which is incredibly convenient!
Honestly, it's wonderful! This will absolutely be my first choice for future visits to Kokura.
The location is about a 15-minute walk from Fukuoka Tenjin Bus Terminal, which is a little far. However, it's only a five-minute walk to the popular mentaiko baguette shop, and there's a 7-Eleven conveniently located right downstairs.
The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, toiletries were well-stocked, and the elevator was fast.
Hot water and coffee were available on the ground floor, which was very convenient for grabbing a cup before heading out each time.
Good value for money. At night, from a distance, there was even a small moon on the rooftop, which looked quite dreamy.

GGuest UserNice hotel, room is big, good facilities, near train station, many eateries around. One thing I appreciate so much is I store my luggage in the locker and don’t know it have PIN code, cannot pick up. Luckily customer service of the hotel help me up by calling them on the pad at the self check in kiosk
Eevantansc@yahoo.com.sgevangelineI was given a room which had smoking odour. The bed smell like a bar. I requested to change the room after staying in for 2 hours and could not stand it. The staff assisted to change my room. The room is really small. We can't open two luggage at the same time. It is not really worth it to stay in this hotel at the price per night other than it's excellent location. They provide free sake for hotel guest for their welcome drink, see picture.

11364170****As a solo traveler, I was looking for a slightly cheaper option and didn't mind a smaller room, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The hotel's location is just as convenient as those near Hakata Station. The Nanakuma subway line is right at its doorstep, and it's also a straightforward 10-minute walk along the main road to Hakata Station. Canal City is right next door, Kushida Shrine is just behind, and there's a 24-hour drugstore and a large supermarket right by the hotel, making shopping incredibly convenient. Housekeeping isn't daily; it's every other day. If you need your room cleaned, you can place a request tag on your door. However, even when the room isn't cleaned, fresh towels are provided outside your door.

MMiyu BirdiePersonal opinion as a female Asian traveler.
Location: 20 mins walk from Hakata station. 4 mins walk to Gion bus stop or canal city bus stop, both go to Hakata station in around 10 mins. Also, 15 mins walk to Kawabata Shopping Arcade and Canal CityHakata. There are not many restaurants nearby, only convenient stores around the area. Better eat before returning to the hotel. There is a MaxValu Express (open for 24 hrs, 2 levels: 1st floor drugsstore and B1 supermarket) 4 mins walk from the hotel. Great option for late night snacks, drinks, daily necessities, and tax-free shopping.
Room: small and a bit old, cleanliness ok, no bath tub only shower stall. Shower water is not hot enough. Very poor sound insulation (recommended to use earplugs when sleepping. Provided on 1st floor of hotel). You can hear almost every single activity happening next door(literally meaning). Light switches far away from bed, which is a bit inconvenient.
Front desk: it is an unmanned hotel. Self check-in via smartphone prior (utilizing the QR code) or via computer on 1st floor. Self check-out via tablet provided inside the room or computer on 1st floor. Using password to enter room. There is a female staff member in the lobby area in the morning if needed help for anything. She doesn't speak much English but is very friendly and willing to help. Also, you can text the hotel staff member for assistance if needed via the room tablet provided. They reply quickly.
Amenities: self-service, self luggage storage, only basic items provided. There is no ice maker and only 1 laundry machine on the 1st floor (always being occupied).
All in all, Pros: though the hotel is unmanned, I find it pretty chill, easy and efficient as long as you figure out how things work (not hard at all, perhaps more accessible for younger visitors). Cons: You really have to lower your expectations for everything else. I personally feel it is more like a hostel than a hotel. But considering it is the Hakata area and with this affortable price, can't murmur.
VVivtsoGood value for money and great location. The nicest thing about the hotel is the natual onsen and all the complimentary items for their guests like ramen at night, morning coffee/juice/tea, ice-cream, yakult drinks. We used the onsen every night after a long day out. The hotel is right next to the subway station.
The room is not big. No room cleaning without a charge. But clean towels are hang outside the door everyday.

WWAI MANStaff is nice and friendly!
Though it is not super close to the station but it's still a comparative convenient location to me.
There're also many good place to eat nearby, highly recommend REC coffee, breakfast is great!
Soundproofing is just so-so, the Korean family stayed next to us is so noisy and banged the door all the time..
Cchloecclexcellent front desk service, very clean. except the room is slightly small the rest is very good. love the location, very convenient and near to Hakata station.
highly recommended ❤️❤️❤️
