The Triple Room was too small to accommodate 3 adults. Insufficient space to place 2 big luggages in the room and even harder to open the luggage. The receptionists were not so friendly however the amenities are more than enough with self-service at the Lobby. All kind of FOC hot and cold drinks are available at the common space canteen too. Location-wise is good as all the restaurants and Pharmacies are just walking distance away.

Parking is just in b1 and the hotel will give you discount when parking in b1 which cost only 1.000 yen for overnight parking. The room is nice and super comfy to stay. The staffs are all so attentive and friendly.

This hotel is amazing! I stay with my family and the place is just spotless. Loved the large bathroom two sinks available! Dont get me started with the outdoor onsen and that was fantastic after a long day of driving. Breakfast is great and the place is within walking distance to the shopping centers, we end up having dinner at the Kumamoto Food stall. Cosy place, nice beds, Netflix and YouTube available on the TV, coffee and tea and free amenities for guest to enjoy.

Good location with shopping arcade right next to it! Lots of good shops like Mister Donut, Gindaco. Walking distance to most attractions like Kumamoto Castle and famous ramen. Great variety of self-pick up amenities (toothbrush, cleanser, body sponge, comb, tea, coffee etc.) and special request amenities like hair curler, latex pillow, power bank, shoe dryer and many more! Easy digital self-check-in with staff assistance. Good breakfast variety and clean environment. Luggage storage with front desk is also easy! Parking guidance brochure available. Free cheese grain snack upon check-in. Highly recommend for anyone to stay here!

Hotel is 5 tram stops away from Kumamoto station, red line. Shopping street is conveniently located, just a few minutes walk away, with many stores and eateries..There was a big Christmas market just in front of the shopping street. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and have all amenities needed. They have coin operated washer cum dryer on 3rd floor, 600 yen. Nice hotel for a short stay.

The hotel is good. Everything is perfect. But housekeepers do not clean the room everyday. We need to pay for 1000yens. But that's still ok

I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel in Aso, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was also incredible, with delicious local dishes that really captured the flavors of the region. The vibes throughout the hotel were warm and cozy, making it feel like a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. The only downside was that the bed was a bit small for two people, so it felt a little tight. But everything else more than made up for it. The hotel also offers plenty of parking, so getting around was easy. The price was definitely reasonable for the experience, and given the amazing views, great food, and tranquil onsen, it felt like a great value. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of Aso!

Perfect location. Next to the bus terminal. Close to the business district so have good access to food and shipping. But parking fee is a bit expensive. It was said to be 1000 Yen but I was charged 1100 and 1400 Yen respectively.

Great location, close to main bus terminal snd shopping district.  Friendly staffs and was anle to offer luggage storage pre/post check in/out.  Onsite hot springs was so nice and relaxing, with complimentary yogurt drinks and ice cream after the bath.  Room was clean and quite spacious.  Definitely will stay again

The hotel is quite large, with three public hot springs, recreational facilities, and breakfast and dinner buffets with local characteristics and good quality. The room is Japanese tatami, which is quite spacious for a family. It is about 10 minutes' walk from Aso Station, and it is very convenient to take the bus to Mount Aso.

The hotel is situated next to a train station and has ample parking lots. Building and rooms were new and clean. Service was alright, nothing particularly outstanding but you can expect the usual Japanese courtesies. Facilities wise is basic, with no gym or pool. Its pantry/dining area is however well stocked and is a comfortable and stylish place to chill out at!

It is located near the golf course hotel halfway up Aso Volcano. It has a beautiful environment and you can see the stars in the sky at night. The dinner buffet style includes delicious long-legged crab legs, as well as all-you-can-drink hot and cold sake. It takes just over 20 minutes to drive to the Aso Volcano Museum.

The hotel is old, so it's not new, but it's clean. The bath water is really good in Kumamoto. The food was also very delicious. For smokers, the lights in the smoking room are turned off at around 12 o'clock, so you have to smoke in the dark. My partner said that it would be better if the lights were on here. I don't smoke, so it didn't bother me. The view was nice.

The service provided here is up and beyond. I love that the whole set up gives not only space for people to mingle, also proper work space to have your alone time if you need it. A beautiful kitchen set up as well, I felt very safe and clean staying here. It was my first time using a kotatsu table too, a dream come true. I listened to some cd displayed for anyone to listen on a headphone. So much fun. The location is perfect too, super close to Aso Station, where we get to everywhere.

Hotels that only want to serve tour groups do not want to accommodate independent travelers. We arrived at 2:30pm and asked if we could check in half an hour early. The employee pointed out that check-in could only be done at 3pm. Then we asked if we could store our luggage, but the employee said she couldn't find our order. She was willing to look for our order only after we showed the trip.com order page. The usage hours of the private hot spring are from 3pm to 9am. We went to the front desk at 10pm to ask about the location of the private hot spring, and she directly told us ”no”. After asking again, we were allowed to enter and let us leave at 12am. Check out time was 10am. We felt very sorry that we didn't leave until 10:08am. They called us 4 times during this period and the attitude was very bad. The employees don't speak English at all, and they won't actively help solve problems. They will just reject you directly, making people feel that you shouldn't bother them, and there is no one on duty at the front desk for a long time.

One of the best onsen hotels we have ever stayed at. The room was spacious, featuring three basins and two restrooms—plenty of space for three adults. The hotel is surrounded by trees and flowers, creating a beautiful and peaceful environment. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with many options to choose from. We were so happy with our stay at this hotel!

This hotel is situated on a spacious property, secluded from the town center and shops. While it features public baths and an on-site restaurant, The dinner and breakfast offered a delightful blend of Western and Japanese dishes, typical of most Japanese hotels. Our twin room, though a bit compact, provided a comfortable overnight stay. All amenities provided were satisfactory for a one-night stay, leaving no room for complaints. As most establishments in the vicinity close after 5 PM (except for convenience stores), there isn't much to do at the hotel besides enjoying the onsen. Therefore, be prepared for an early night in.

This time to Aso Volcano decided to stay in a more traditional Japanese hotel, of course, can not communicate in English, but can more experience local life is genuinely great, the hot spring is very good

The hotel is located at the centre of 黑川溫泉區, which is quite rural so highly recommended to go by car. The service is excellent! The staff helped us to park the car and take the luggages up the stairs to our Japanese style family room. We have ordered full board package and both meals are gorgeous. There are many onsens in the hotel which are non-reserved and private, allowing family to enjoy onsen together. One drawback is that there are many stairs so elderly might have to take it into consideration.

This Spring Festival, I took my parents to live in this hotel in Kurokawa Onsen. I booked it at the last minute and found that there was a vacant room. I changed to this hotel at the last minute. It was not a wrong choice at all! The service really warmed my heart! Not only was the hotel's hot spring very comfortable! The room reservation included breakfast for three people, free evening drinks, and free pick-up and drop-off service at the station. In addition, before the trip, I contacted the customer service to book a buffet dinner of 400 per person, with fresh sashimi and beef Xiapu Xiapu, which was very suitable for parents! There is also an observatory on the top floor of the hotel, but the weather was too cold and I went too late to observe the stars. It is worth mentioning that! ! My mobile phone was left in the room when I checked out. When I contacted me, I had already arrived in Fukuoka, and even flew back to China from Nagasaki the next morning! The hotel was very considerate and efficient. It contacted the Kuroneko Express to help me deliver it to the hotel in Nagasaki immediately! It was still free! ! Very considerate and touching!

A wonderful Ryokan. There is an onsen for your feet in the yard. Inside there is an onsen with an opening window for a sense of freshness from the street. We lived in a Japanese-style room with futons. The toilet is in the room, and the shower is shared. Also, upon check-in they give you a ticket to the neighboring hotel Yukio no Hibiki Yusai with a very good onsen with two pools, one inside, the second outside almost above the river. Very cozy in the evening to sit and warm up.

Very pleasant impressions from staying in this place. Spacious and clean rooms in a traditional style with a view of the river. Very tasty dinner and breakfast (you can choose Western). Family baths are not very big, it is comfortable for two people, if there are three or four of you - it will be cramped. From the ryokan we were driven by car to the bus stop, which was very convenient considering our heavy suitcases.

For some reason, the information about this hotel is so limited on Ctrip. If you want to choose a room with indoor and outdoor private hot springs, this is a great choice. The location is not in the town center, but it takes more than ten minutes to walk. There is a car to take you there, and the service is very good. Most rooms in the town center are small in size, and they are not likely to have private hot springs or courtyards. The rooms here are all large. We stayed in a double-story room. The first floor has two private hot springs inside and outside, which are very elegant. There is also a massage chair and a bathroom. The second floor is a tatami bedroom, including a reception area and a small bathroom. The area is very large and the price-performance ratio is good. There is also a large room on the first floor with a private hot spring, which should be a more comfortable choice for living. I want to complain to Ctrip about the food. I have replied in the final confirmation email of the reservation that I do not eat horse, beef and mutton, but I found that I did not receive any information from Ctrip when I arrived at the store. I could only temporarily change to tofu and duck meat, which affected the experience. It rained heavily on the day of check-out. We went on a family trip and stayed at Dream Dragon on the coldest day during the Spring Festival. I stayed here once more than 5 years ago and was very impressed. It is a pure Japanese style, and the dinner and breakfast are so rich that you can't help but lean on the wall. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and quiet, and the water quality of the hot spring is excellent, but remember to bring towels from the room, there are no towels in the hot spring. The snacks are delicious. The puffs and coffee shops in Kurokawa Town are very good. There are century-old shops everywhere. It is a quaint place.

We are a couple from Australia and I only speak a little Japanese. This was a truly AMAZING experience! The staff were so kind and friendly, giving us assistance was no issue for them. The location is stunning, the private onsen was glorious and the dinners and breakfasts were bigger than we could possibly eat (and we love our food). The price point for this experience was so good - fantastic value for money. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a little adventure in the heart of countryside Japan. If you get the chance to also visit Minamiaso (they will take you there at no extra charge) for the day, grab some e-bikes and have a ride around- take in the beautiful scenery and wonderful food options.

We are traveling by car. It would be a bit troublesome to go there by ourselves. The hotel is located on a golf course. If you stay here, you must stay and eat two meals. Because there is nothing nearby, you must drive out for about two to thirty minutes. Supermarkets and gourmet food! There is a large parking lot nearby where you can park for free. There is also Qianqiu outside the park. The scenery is good, but the portion for one parking and two meals is too small! Not full enough! So be sure to buy snacks 😆 This is a hot spring hotel, with indoor and outdoor facilities, and the hot spring facilities are also good!
