The room is very big. I was given a room at the back at first. I didn't like going to the front desk to change it. The clerk was very friendly and changed the room immediately. The room is very large. There are free facial masks and bubble baths at the front desk. The bathtub is deep and comfortable. There are also toy decorations of various star trains at the front desk, which are very attractive to children. The hotel is next to the JR station, which is very convenient and cost-effective. The storage box is self-service, simple and convenient.

None of them spoke much English and I don't speak any Japanese. The only disappointment was that I asked them to call a store to confirm something on my behalf and they refused. They were not busy at the time and it would have taken all of two minutes to assist me with that. Breakfast was pretty basic, but good and filling.

The room is big enough, clean and comfortable. The food’s delicious! You must try their chicken nanban and deer meat. Above all, they have the nicest, most accommodating, and approachable hotel staff. I highly recommend staying at hotel grateful Takachiho. Grateful for the best hotel stay. The waters are lukewarm at best, and hot water is really important in the winter.

Lovely hotel located 5 minutes walk to Takachiho Shrine and 15-20 minutes to Takachiho Gorge. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Excellent service at the reception desk. Hotel provided seat cushions for us to sit on to watch the evening show at Takachiho Shrine. Also very helpful with confirming our next destination since we did not speak Japanese. Lovely meals in the onsite restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel and even stay here again one day.

It's right by the Sea with so much activities that it's one of the places we wished we stayed an extra day. The Hotel is massive and due to the design, it looks like each room will have a good-excellent sea view. Come in the Summer and enjoy the activities and the surrounding areas.

It is very close to Takachiho Gorge and is subject to traffic control on weekends. , it’s only 15 minutes to park your car and walk into the canyon. There is no food nearby. It is recommended to come back after you are full or order a meal from the hotel. The bed is big, two big and two small are comfortable

Love Ryokan ShinSen very very much, we are very very enjoyable! All staff are very friendly and helpful. Amazing Chef Cooking on dinner and breakfast. Very full each meals. Nice room with Spa. This price all worth it. I would recommend to friends if they go Fukuoka

I used it on a solo trip, but I was impressed with the detailed response from check-in to check-out. I was impressed with the idea of using dinner, breakfast and local food. I think the balance between price and service is very good facility.

The lady boss called us to reserve a table beforehand, and then took us to the restaurant by car, and asked the restaurant to call her after our meal and send a car to pick us up to the hotel; because the next day was a weekday, there was no circulating bus After visiting various tourist areas, she arranged a car to take us to Takachiho Gorge, and asked us to walk into a product store there after completing the trip to find the person in charge to call her and send a car to pick us up to the next tourist spot ~ the small train station, and it will be free during the period. It’s really heartwarming to help us prepare a bamboo leaf rice ball for each of us! ! Very friendly and friendly proprietress, of course she drove us to the bus terminal when we finally left the hotel! 😁 The room size is relatively small, there is no problem for 2 people, and it is a little crowded for 3 people! I got the whole house but the share bath room it out door far away. Weather so cold (end of December) but heater from gas not warm enough.
