I ordered a double bed and made a loft. The overall space is not very large, but it is much more comfortable than domestic hotels. The hygiene and service are excellent. The location is very good. It is 7 minutes walk from Nara Park and 5 minutes from the subway entrance. A place to eat, drink and play for 5 minutes. You can play in Nara for a few more days, the deer are very cute

A hotel full of history as it has been the chosen venue for important events in Nara. Many celebrities had stayed in this hotel including Albert Einstein. Tried the rice lager at the tea house which is very good tgough some may find it not strong enough. The vicinity is nice. It is within waljing distance of the famous Nara Park. The room is spacious. Shuttle bus service to Nara station is excellent. Very helpful staff. An enjoyable stay indeed!

We travel as family of 1 adult and 3 teens. Staying in a Japanese room for 3+1 for 5 nights. Room: With all futons out, not much room to move around. So we kept our 5 carry on luggage in the hallway. Not a big issue. Kitchen: good for simple cooking and heat up. Location: 15 minutes walk from JR station, 9 minutes walk from Kintetsu station, no need for a taxi. Also can walk to museum Todaiji and Kasuga Tsushima. Deers downstairs in the morning. Our room has great view of the pond and pagoda. Facilities: washing basin is on the balcony instead of with toilet and shower due to its original function as local government hostel. Public bath although not spring water, still good enough to enjoy traditional Japanese. Convenience store in basement open till 7:30pm. Small clothes drying rack is convenient for overnight underwear or socks. Reception: great service with always someone speaks languages other than Japanese. Also it has free daily activities such as making origami deers. Great place to have a relaxed tour in Nara. The downside of the place is the wifi signal a bit weak inside the room, while perfect near the hallway and inside the building. Also the coin laundry and dryers really need a good clean or replace the filter more regularly. All in all, a great experience staying in the Nara Visitor Inn! Thanks!

Service: The front desk was very polite. The rice balls breakfast was good. The milk was sweet and not fishy at all. It was delicious. There was also a self-service tea from 3pm to 7pm. Environment: The hotel is located near Nara Park, very close to Kofuku-ji Temple, and about 15 minutes to the subway station. Facilities: Small but complete. The most basic room type booked, the floor-to-ceiling panoramic window P4 is worth it, but the only drawback is that the table is very small. You need to prepare your own toothbrush and toothpaste.

Pretty new and clean, just 3 mins walk from JR west exit. Spacious resting and changing area for public bath so comparatively the pool seems not big enough.

Booked this hotel through Trip which was a godsend. The hotel that I booked through ******* was screwed up big time by ******* because the hotel didn't receive the reservation apparently. ******* was not helpful with the relocation (even thought there were availability at other hotels), claiming the hotel class are different from the one I booked. Anyways this hotel is convenient and clean, only thing that I disliked was the site mentioned double bed BUT only can accommodate 1 person!? Ended we have to pay additional ¥3k for the 3rd person (my youngest daughter) for 2 rooms. 1 room for myself and the other for both daughters because the manager was adamant about the 1 room per person, however after paying the additional ¥3k he was ok with 2 persons in a room. Didn't make sense unless I was explained it is some government regulations to allow only 1 double bed room for 1 person

Very Friendly staff Very strict on the timing of ”checking in”: Even though we arrived 245pm, they ask us to come back at 3pm for check in, but they offer to keep our luggages for us FOC. Free Soba noodle at 930pm was tasty morning breakfast was excellent

The breakfast is not bad, the staff here are very polite, the service attitude is good, the room is a little bit outdated, but it is better than the price, the hardware is complete, you can take a bath and relax after a day of shopping, it is not bad!

Although the history of the homestay is a bit old, the supporting infrastructure is not bad. It is a very charming Japanese tatami accommodation. It is good to experience it for one night. You need to buy towels, toothbrushes and other things in the hotel by yourself. They provide them here. It seems to be about 100 yen (I forgot the exact price). In addition, the light in the room I stayed in needs to be pressed for a long time, otherwise the light cannot be turned on. (Room number is 213or203) I don’t know how the quilt is laid. The liner will run out of the sheets, and it is a bit dirty, and the blood stains are not cleaned. It seems that the luggage can only be placed downstairs? Because shoes are not allowed to be worn upstairs, which is not very convenient. The shower and toilet are on the first floor. There is a sink on the second floor

The location was close to JR Nara Station and within walking distance of Kintetsu Nara Station. There are restaurants, souvenir shops, and convenience stores nearby. Amenities were provided and some items were available at the front desk, which was convenient. The staff was polite and allowed me to enter the room even though it was a little early for check-in. Thank you very much. It was perfect. However, right after I entered the room, I found a fries that looked like it was from McDonald's under the desk. It was a shame because it was in a pretty conspicuous place. Other than that, I was satisfied!
