Hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from JR station (not connected to station) with many shops or restaurants nearby. Rooms were good size and there were amenities available in the lobby (such as face wash, cream) along with free coffee in the morning. However was a bit disappointed with the maintenance of the room as there were some wood peeling off near the bedside counter.

Hotel located conveniently 1 min walk from Shizuoka station. Room is much bigger than standard Japanese hotel so it's a great point. Lobby gives us a high class feel. However, one only down point is there are no laundry at the hotel so for people who stay long it might be a point to turn it down. Other than that, the rest are perfect.

Decent hotel that is most advantageous for it's location - it is immediately next to the train station and bus station, providing great convenience for any trip in the area. It is near to many restaurants, cafes, a mall, and the Fuji World Heritage Center which is a very well thought-out museum. A few problems concern cleanliness and it's amenities. We found a few bugs across the hotel and the bathroom sometimes produced an odor (not of our own making, mind you). The amenities are mostly in good working order but are are limited in some annoying ways. Food quality and variety in the breakfast could be a little better - no coffee is available even though there is a coffee machine for instance. Laundry machines are only available when the baths are open for a few hours in the morning and evening. One other issue concerns the notion that although the hotel has stated on signs that they would be unable to access our room without the key, they were able to do so anyway when we requested to change the bedding with the bug in it. This left us a little perplexed. Otherwise, other aspects of the hotel were up to snuff. Friendly staff. Efficient service. Willing to store luggage. The welcome drink (pour your own alcoholic drink) was a nice touch.

The front desk staffs speak Japanese, English & Mandarin, we were well-briefed on the hotel information and even received an invite to show us the hotel facilities. Highly recommend to stay here even if it is slightly further walk from Shizuoka station.

It is what you can expect from a Dormy Inn : lots of freebies, a comfortable room and a bathhouse area with the bonus point of having a good Mount Fuji view especially if you get the rooms facing the right side. The hotel's clearly geared for people who drive, there is two main carpark areas but it can get filled up quite quickly during peak holiday periods. The breakfast was sumptuous and excellent as expected from a Dormy Inn. There is a nice late night soba service and popsicles in the evening. Location wise, it is only a short drive away from the Gotemba Premium Outlets and some local sights. It is located next to Chichibunomiya Memorial Park with a former villa. The hotel is also pretty new.

Our room has Mt Fuji view if the weather is clear. Yiu can get the train directly from Tokyo to new Fuji station (新富士）. The hotel also has a free shuttle arrange from the Fuji station to the hotel and vice versa. Only some hours bus schedule is not provided. Overall, this is a good transit place to have a closer look of the Mt Fuji. If you like to go 夢之大橋, you can walk from the hotel to there about 30 mins. Even you stay in the restaurant in the station, mt Fuji appears in front of you.

This was my second stay at Yokikan, and it was just as good as the first. Even though it was a busy time, everything was smooth. The main outdoor bath is great — really nice view, and it wasn’t crowded at all. The building isn’t new, but it’s very comfortable and well taken care of. It has that special feel, which I like. Dinner was solid as well — good variety of fresh fish, everything looked and tasted great. Most of the staff don’t speak much English, but it wasn’t a problem. I was able to communicate just fine, and they were all friendly and helpful. One of those spots I’d definitely come back again.

This relaxation hotel is a 15min walk from Gotemba Station. You can see the view of Mt Fuji from their observation deck. The room is spacious, and has all the amenities. They also have a public bath perfect for the winter. They serve soba every night, and breakfast is also good. Overall, very nice stay!

You can stay for a day! The walk to the centre and train station is about 10 minutes, which can be a bit of a chore if you are carrying heavy luggage! Friendly front desk service! Since the price is low, there are no facilities! If you drive yourself, you need to take pictures of the nearby cooperative public parking lots!

I can see Mt Fuji from my room but the sound insulation is very bad can hear the train running clearly even with the windows closed . Location is great as it’s near to JR station and fish market Room is tiny though, squeeze for 2 Pax

The location is good. The station is just opposite. There are buses that go directly to Shizuoka Airport. It is also convenient for shopping and eating nearby. There is a convenience store downstairs and a microwave in the lobby. They can also help with luggage storage after check-out. I really recommend it

Very close to Shizuoka Station. Just two streets away, you can take Shizuoka Station to the airport, Nagoya, Kawaguchiko, Japan, etc. There are buses everywhere. The room is much bigger than the previous Japanese rooms. The cleaning staff cleaned it very cleanly. I happened to meet the cleaning uncle when I left the hotel. I bowed 90 degrees. I will stay here again next time

It was close to the station and there was no problem washing and sleeping. Everything was good except that the blanket was too heavy and uncomfortable. This is a place I recommend to people who need a place to rest for a while because they have been out for a long time.

Trip.com has photos of Japanese and Western-style rooms for booking a regular double room. After booking, I asked for a Japanese-style room, but the hotel said it depends on the availability at the time. So I checked in at the hotel around 3pm after landing at the airport, but the staff said they could only provide Western-style rooms. If I wanted a Japanese-style room, I would have to pay extra! After a long fuss, we were finally offered a Japanese-style room, but they told us to be careful not to put our luggage on the tatami! Foreign tourists are generally assigned Western-style rooms. The Japanese-style room feels comfortable and clean. It includes a simple breakfast. There are many restaurants, large shopping malls, and Surugaya main store nearby on foot! I will choose this hotel again when I go to Jing again. I hope Trip.com can directly choose the Japanese-style room!

A great hotel with a large public bath near the station and breakfast. I don't eat breakfast and only drink coffee, but the breakfast is so delicious. Is this what Japanese home cooking tastes like? Miso soup is my style. The small croissants are so delicious. Eat three! Since I was traveling with my mother, I chose a hotel near the station or bus terminal. On my previous trip, I stayed at Kuretake Annex Inn (5-minute walk from Ekimae). Honestly, I like Annex better. This time, I made a reservation at Ekimae because there were no seats due to the end of the year, but it's great value for money because you can sleep, walk to Shizuoka Station (5 minutes), Shin-Shizuoka Station (10 minutes), and Senoba (10 minutes). Everyone was so kind and nice, but the large public bath was so small and crowded that I couldn't use it even once. It's such a shame. ㅠㅠ Soundproofing... Especially, I can hear the sound well beyond the door.. I wonder if the students came to play in groups (it seems that many sports students use it in groups) and they are loud and shouting in groups.. I booked a room with two beds and it was really nice. Aside from the old floor feeling and soundproofing, the hot water, heater, and air conditioner are really nice. There is also a Ministop convenience store 1 minute away and a Lawson 3 minutes across the street. If the breakfast place is open in the evening, it would be so nice to forget what I bought at the convenience store ㅜㅜ It's too small to eat in the room Still recommended😀

I loved the hotel, services and amenities was wonderful, food is great, rooms clean and nice with beautiful view on Mt Fuji! Onsens was also an amazing experience, just the location for local transfer is a little far away.

This is a pretty good chain hotel. I spent 8 days in Tokyo and stayed at the same Toyoko INN for 6 nights. It's small but complete with everything. There's a buffet breakfast every day. I suggest you book this hotel a few days in advance, especially on Saturday and Sunday nights. It's quite expensive if you can't make a reservation at the last minute! It takes a while to walk from the subway station exit. It's quite convenient to walk in a straight line. It should take 15 minutes to get there.

I booked a room for a night to stay before my early morning Mt Fuji climb. The staff were excellent, helped me with taxi booking and also held my bag the next day for me to retrieve it after my climb. Two nice surprises: free dinner of curry rice or noodles is provided, also there is a Men's bath (like an onsen) onsite, which the staff let me use after my climb to clean up. There is also a large supermarket nearby for supplies.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 days and had a wonderful family holiday. It takes around 5-8 minutes to get to the hotel by taxi from Gotemba station. The hotel also offers reliable shuttle bus service. It’s nicely located and designed for guests to enjoy the spectacular view of Mt Fuji wherever you go in the hotel, whether you’re having breakfast, bathing in the onsen, drinking coffee in the lounge or staying in your room. Staff were also very helpful and enthusiastic.

Business style room that is ok sized for the price u pay. Staff was helpful to move our items up to our room prior to check in. They offer an eco friendly room cleaning option, and if selected, you will receive tokens for a free can of beer. The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants and easily accessible by car. There is free onsen but I didn't manage to try

Close to the train station, although it has a bit of history. But the room is large, comfortable and hygienic. It is well-equipped, and the most outstanding thing is the large window in the room. The scenery is comparable to the sightseeing bay in a big city. You can see the entire Hamamatsu City in the distance. From sunrise to sunset, it is very gorgeous.

It is close to the south exit of Hamamatsu Station and has excellent access. Check-in is done using an automated machine, which was a little tedious to enter information into, but I managed it without any problems. The room is of standard business hotel specifications. I loved the cleanliness of the place; it's incredibly spacious for a capsule hotel, which really impressed me. The shower area is clean and stocked with shampoo, soap, and conditioner. I received bread and coffee for breakfast. The only downside was that I wasn't aware there was no parking, so I had difficulty getting there and had to park in nearby paid lots. The location is excellent; there are convenience stores, a market, and the hotel is situated within a building that houses restaurants and cafes.

The room is larger than other hotels, the price is reasonable, and it is close to the subway station and large shopping malls, which is very convenient. The counter is fast and the lobby is spacious. Very convenient. But the overall is older and the room is too. The environment is good, the breakfast is rich, I forgot to take photos, and the room facilities are average.

Chosen a non-smoking twin room. The room was spacious enough to open two big laugaue cases. Room are quite and beds are comfort. Shopping Malls and supermarket nearby. There is a carpark in the Hotel. If you don't drive, about 10 minutes walk to JR station or 600 yen of taxi fee or take al bus. We liked the welcome drinks bar very much, 24 hours open and self-service. Imagine that drinking a glass of cold drink after a walk in a very hot day, satisfactory.
