Standing at Jungfraujoch surrounded by snow-covered peaks is something we'll never forget. The Alpine Playground kept our child entertained while the adults enjoyed incredible mountain scenery. Arriving in the charming, car-free village of Zermatt instantly felt special. 🏔️ Day 8 (3 June) – Gornergrat Railway & Matterhorn Blue Hour 🏨 Stay: Airbnb, Zermatt 🚞 Travel Time: Around 35 minutes each way One of the absolute highlights of our trip. As the village lights slowly appeared beneath the mountain, it became one of the most peaceful and unforgettable moments of our entire holiday. 🚶 Day 9 (4 June) – Zermatt Village Walk 🏨 Stay: Airbnb, Zermatt After several busy sightseeing days, we slowed down and simply enjoyed wandering around Zermatt. Watching Switzerland's mountains, valleys and villages unfold through the panoramic windows was an unforgettable experience. 🏙️ Day 11 (6 June) – Zurich City Walk 🏨 Stay: Aparthotel Adagio Zurich City Center Everything we wanted to visit was within walking distance, making this a relaxing final full day. Walk along the nearby path, and it feels like a valley where elves live🧝‍♀️ 📍 Mount Rigi – Mountain and Lake Views Take the red little train up the mountain🚂 At the top, there’s a big lake on one side and snowy mountains on the other. There’s a very flat path that even kids and grandmas can walk.
