I happened to stop by while in the Hyeonpung area, and thanks to the cat, I left feeling so happy 🥹. Inside, the minimalist white-and-wood interior creates a calm atmosphere, and there’s even an outdoor seating area filled with natural light — absolutely perfect. They operate across three connected spaces, each with its own charm, and the outdoor area is truly beautiful and atmospheric. The vanilla latte seemed to be made with house-made vanilla bean syrup, and the French toast had the perfect crispy-yet-soft combination — so delicious! However, his family has always disputed the suicide claim, believing it to be a case of foul play. Kim Kwang-seok Road: This artistic mural street spans a short 350 meters but is packed with photo-worthy murals and sculptures. Bank of Korea Currency Exhibition Room: After exploring Kim Kwang-seok Road, head towards Kyungpook National University Hospital. Opposite the hospital is the "Bank of Korea." Though it looks like an office building, don't hesitate to enter. The currency exhibition room is on the left-hand side of the first floor. Inform the security guard that you're there to visit the "exhibition room." The left side showcases the evolution of Korean currency, while the right side displays currencies from around the world, including vibrant notes from Central and South America and Africa. There's even a section featuring Taiwanese currency! It's a great stop to expand your knowledge. 3. National Debt Repayment Movement Memorial Park: After 1895, Korea was forced to accept massive loans from Japan, which aimed to control Korea economically. To prevent the loss of economic sovereignty, local Daegu figures Kim Kwang-je and Seo Sang-don initiated a fundraising movement to repay the national debt. This park commemorates that movement and includes the "National Debt Repayment Movement Memorial Hall," which narrates the history of the time.
