I want to go back to Barcelona! 😭

Barcelona never disappoints. We stayed a bit far from the center at the Renaissance Barcelona Fira Hotel, and the experience was excellent. The view from your room, the sunrises, the orange light of the sun reflected on the Mediterranean Sea, the breakfast(what a breakfast, so many options and all delicious, from the cold cuts, the fuet, the bakery part and the prepared dishes, soooo goooood), even the location was great as you can see the whole city from the roof top open bar. The hotel sits in a quieter zone, yet you’re minutes from fresh fruit stalls, supermarkets, and shopping malls so every convenience is close. Getting here is easy: hop on the metro to Europa-Fira station and you’re at the doorstep, easy to reach from airport or train station. The rooms serve up comfy beds and hot, powerful showers—plus living in a hotel designed by one of the most famous contemporary architects, Jean Nouvel. Food lovers: grab lunch at the legendary 7 Portes for classic rice dishes and sea food, the reviews may not give it a high score, but from my experience it has always satisfied my expectations and the service has been nice. Worth noticing if you appreciate design: visit the Mies Van Der Rohe Pavilion in the area of the international Expo of the 1920s, it’s an almost a 100 years old building that looks still modern and represents the values of the Bauhaus German design. I never paid attention to it in my previous visits, but knowing a bit of its history makes you admire the purity of the design.
