Showing you the prosperous splendor! (Phoenix Ancient Town edition)

From Changsha to Zhangjiajie, we traveled all the way to Phoenix Ancient Town, perfectly ending the trip. We reserved an afternoon and evening for the ancient town, and left early the next morning. Booked a guesthouse downstream, quiet and within walking distance to the central area. Took a 30 yuan taxi from the high-speed rail station to Wuqiao Bridge, crossed the bridge and arrived—no need to drag luggage on stone paths. In the afternoon, we strolled around the ancient town, soaked our feet with Miao herbal medicine to treat the stinky feet after three days of mountain hiking. Came back around 4 PM, the guesthouse owner’s wife carried a professional camera and took lifestyle photos for free, very professional and efficient with the shots. As a working person, I worked for a while in the guesthouse courtyard, enjoying the scenery—super comfortable. For dinner, took a taxi to an old restaurant in the center, then walked back along the Tuojiang River to the guesthouse. So many cosplaying fox spirits and beautiful women in Miao ethnic costumes, very eye-catching haha. Half a day wandering the ancient town with my parents, the pace was just right. The night view was amazing, truly worthy of Maomao’s heartfelt longing for the prosperous Chang’an. When checking in, the owner’s wife gave us a map and travel route suggestions, very practical. Later, she took photos for us and quickly delivered the edited pictures—super fast exporting and sharing. She’s very decisive and efficient, I really love this working style. This trip was unforgettable, heading back to Ningbo tomorrow.
