Notre-Dame de Paris｜A Moment of Serenity in History

This time visiting Notre-Dame de Paris, I chose not to climb the tower but instead stepped inside the cathedral to slowly immerse myself in its atmosphere. The moment I entered, light streamed down from above, filling the space with a quiet solemnity that starkly contrasted with the bustling Paris outside. The towering vaulted ceilings and the light filtering through the stained glass windows naturally slowed my pace. Even without ascending to the top, simply wandering through the interior allows one to deeply feel the weight and intricate details of this centuries-old structure. Sitting briefly on a bench, watching the ebb and flow of visitors and those in prayer, my mind also grew calm. Being able to step inside again is a privilege in itself. It is not just a landmark of Paris but a memory preserved through time.
