🌳Elizabeth Lookout
🚋From the center of Budapest, Hungary, take Metro Line 2 and get off at Szell Kalman Ter. Walk for about 4 minutes. 🚎Take Bus No. 21A and walk for about 22 minutes. You will reach Normafa Park Station! Now, if you walk straight up the road from the park entrance, you will reach the Elizabeth Lookout! There are also convenience stores selling delicious snacks on the way to the lookout, so please take note!
🚀The lookout starts from the ground floor of the building and you can go up narrow and steep stairs to various floors. There are spaces where you can see the view on each floor, so you can see Normafa Park and tourists! Now, if you go up to the top of the tower, you will see the Hungarian flag. And you can see the hills and cute houses of the Buda area that spread out widely. And another point! There is a place where you can hang a lock at the Elizabeth Lookout, just like Namsan in Korea. Friends and couples hang it to promise friendship and love. It's also fun to look at the various locks! Come to the Elizabeth Lookout where you can look down on Hungary while feeling the cool breeze!

Panoramic View of Budapest from the Elizabeth Lookout Tower
The Elizabeth Lookout Tower is located on the summit of János Hill in the outskirts of Budapest, the capital of Hungary. To reach the tower, you first need to climb the hill and then walk a short distance further. The tower has multiple levels, and the highest point requires climbing four to five flights of stairs. The best part about this tower is that it's free of charge. Once you reach the top, you can see the entire city of Budapest and even spot other cities in Hungary.

My visit to the Elizabeth Lookout in Budapest during autumn was an enchanting experience. Perched atop János Hill, it offers panoramic views of the city. Nearby attractions include the Children's Railway, the chairlift to Zugliget, and the Normafa Park, making it a perfect destination for nature enthusiasts and explorers.
In the fall, the Elizabeth Lookout takes on a special charm. The city's landscape is adorned with vibrant shades of red, orange, and gold, and the crisp air carries a sense of tranquility. The panoramic views from the lookout are nothing short of spectacular, and the fall foliage adds to the visual delight.
The lookout itself is a historic gem, and the cozy cafe at the summit provides a perfect place to savor the views with a warm beverage.
Exploring the Elizabeth Lookout in autumn is like stepping into a postcard-worthy setting. It's a serene retreat for those seeking a connection with nature and the beauty of the changing seasons. Elizabeth Lookout is the highest hill in Budapest and is a great place to hike. There is a bus that goes up to the top, but it takes about an hour to walk up to the tower at the top. The observation deck is worth a visit.
