The secret place for foliage viewing in the Oirase Gorge: Tsutagawa Sand Control Park
#2024Travel Review
On the Northeast maple viewing self-driving trip, we came to the highlight of this itinerary #OiraseStream. Unfortunately, the red leaves are coming to an end. Although they are sparse, the crowds are still unabated, and the quality of tourism is greatly reduced.
Fortunately, on the way to Tsuta Hot Spring the next day, I unexpectedly discovered a secret place of red leaves with almost no one at it. It is opposite the Oirase Hoshino Park, at the confluence of the Tsuta River and the Oirase River, along the Tsuta River. The area from the bank of Kawakawa River to Tsutagawa Hot Spring is the hinterland of Sunagawa Park.
There are very few tourists along the Tsutagawa River. Most of them go to Tsuta Hot Spring and Hakkoda Mountain, so few people stay. However, the scenery along the way is no less than that of Oirase River, and the red leaves are in full bloom. Take a ride on the small sand dam waterfall to get more. It is divided into original natural features.
It is highly recommended that if you want to avoid the crowds, you can take a walk in the direction of Tsutawa River, which will definitely make your camera stop taking pictures!
