Sharing four of my personal favorite hidden gems, each perfect for quiet contemplation 👇 📍Weishan, Yunnan The ancient capital of the Nanzhao Kingdom, even quieter than Dali. Highlights: Weishan Ancient City (Gongchen Tower, Xinggong Tower), Weibaoshan Mountain (a famous Taoist mountain with towering ancient trees). Itinerary: Day 1: Explore the ancient city, enjoy local snacks, and relax in a teahouse; Day 2: Climb Weibaoshan Mountain, then return to the ancient city in the afternoon for more leisurely strolls; Day 3: Visit the Nanzhao Museum or enjoy another round of food. 🍜Food: Braised Pork Rice Noodles, Crossing-the-River Rice Noodles, Green Bean Cakes, Grilled Rice Cakes. Travel Tips: Weishan Station is a 30-minute high-speed train ride from Dali.
