It is convenient to eat around, there are many supermarkets and they are close, it is super convenient to buy things, there is a pizza restaurant 2 minutes walk away, I personally think it is very delicious. The hotel is clean, well-equipped, and the service attitude is good.
The photos fooled me into thinking it was better than it is. It seemed like maybe a step above Motel 6. The front door had a sizable gap between the jamb and the door. Light shine through. It also let in all the noise from the courtyard, neighbors, and street. The wifi worked sometimes. I asked for no maid service since I had my stuff strewn everywhere. They respected that. There was no Do Not Disturb sign to better indicate. The one they gave me on request was always blowing off the doorknob. Everything just felt cheap, with the ”continental breakfast” of FrootLoops and other cereals, pop-up waffles, etc. I went down the street to an excellent café every day instead. There was also a hole above the registration desk that had been patched but not painted. Can't say I'd stay there again.
Room facilities are good, with a small fridge and microwave. The sink is double, and one person is very convenient. There is a small dining table in the room and a sink in the bathroom next to the microwave. The air conditioner is grounded, the sound is a bit big, but it is very comfortable without air conditioning at night. Good parking and convenient parking.
Under the high-speed bridge, the surrounding environment is a bit deserted and desolate, the room is a bit noisy, the facilities are good, the staff is more complicated, most of them are the surrounding construction workers and Indian Asan, playing music outside the door, chatting, etc., some noisy and a little scared, after all, still worried about safety, I chatted with them a few words, I feel relatively simple, I feel relieved, breakfast is the same hotel, it is not bad, parking is convenient.
I was really satisfied with my stay here. The room was spacious and cleanly maintained, and the bed was very comfortable. I was especially impressed by the cleanliness of the bathroom and the hot water. The staff was also friendly and responded quickly to requests such as baby cribs, which I was very grateful for.
The hotel is located about an hour from Yosemite Valley, so it is a bit difficult to move around at night. You have to leave before 4pm at the latest to arrive at 5pm.
It is recommended if you have a baby because it has a microwave and refrigerator.
The only regret is that there is an additional charge for baby cribs, but other than that, it was a satisfactory stay in every way. I would definitely visit again next time.

Bbdawwg 017Hotel room was clean and the staff was friendly. It's a great location to walk to Hollywood Blvd and see the walk of fame and theatre's plus other iconic locations. There was a movie screening the night we were there and had opportunities to catch a glimpse of some celebrities in attendance. However it is disappointing in how the entire area has fallen apart and we felt a little unsafe walking around after dark. Plenty of tacky souvenir shops to get your over-priced trinkets. The hotel didn't offer much in the form of amenities, no shampoo or lotion etc and half of the vending machines were out of order. We didn't spend much time here but the price and the location were good to see all the things on our bucket list. We all slept well but to feel a bit safer, spend a bit more and stay a couple more streets away.
GGuest UserThe cleanliness is okay, but the room smells very strong, and the overall environment is average. There is a bar downstairs, so there will be noise at night, but the parking is convenient. It is close to Hollywood Boulevard. Breakfast is provided, but there is only bread. It is difficult for Chinese people to accept the smell~
EEnglishTeacher朱丽叶Location was excellent for concert at Petco Park, took Uber and obviously was longer due to concert influx realized take a lime lite would have been faster. Walking expect 25-30 min and going up hill.
Service was good at check -in , first night found roaches 🪳 under and around fridge area! Went to lobby for possible accommodations , encountered male fair skin and colored eyes, said they were from the weather (🙄) didn’t seem surprised to hear there were roaches in our room, asked if we can switch rooms- he said they were fully booked and didn’t have anything available which I didn’t even see him check. At this point couldn’t find room to check out for the weekend and left as is. Told cleaning lady that evening and she shared a roach spray to spray in infected area. We didn’t not feel comfortable in this environment and left our snacks and food in bags and placed luggage on our beds and desk to avoid roaches from getting in. Additionally had requested towels and when asked for 4 same lobbyist said 4 was pushing it and only handing two towels even though I had booked two double Queen rooms for 8 people!!
Second room has stains on bed sheets and pillows, unsure what exactly it was but looked like blood. Friend got rash on arm and suspected bed bugs, checked sheets and luckily didn’t find any.
Bathroom sink had broken handle that came off when lifted.
Breakfast was good- early hours 7:30-8:30 , doors closed by 8:25 and you cannot take food out. But decent has French toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal and juices.
Parking was small but have additional parking below , just have to walk around the corner.
GGuest UserThe Anaheim Convention and Exhibition Center is very close and can be walked. Disney/or the location is very good for meetings. For other requirements of the motel, don’t have too high expectations😄
AAnonymous UserThere are many hotels around and it is a ten-minute drive from the sea lion viewing point.
All hotel prices go up during the holidays.
The environmental facilities are at the level of a fast hotel.
Those with low requirements can be considered.
GGuest UserThe building is average looking with friendly manager. I had apartment 201 which was an upstairs unit. The white bedspread had stains on it, that looked like fecal stains from someone sitting on the white spread. The sheets were fine. The carpeting looked like it had not been shampooed in years. The sleeping area has two ceiling lights that were not working. Not so sure that the TV remote was working, but was able to work the TV using the on and off buttons. There were no light switches near the bed so I had to get out of bed to turn on and off the ceiling lights. The baseboards were very dirty and dusty. Spots on the walls. The headboard needed to be dusted. The bathroom had decent water pressure and sufficient hot water. The walls near the toilet and sink counter were full of spots. Spider webs on the side of the toilet walls. Ceiling exhaust fan was not working, and one light in the bathroom was out. Towels were clean but put on he racks not completely dry. In general I would say that the cleaning staff probably touches the obvious areas but does not pay attention to details. Even the lightswitch covers had a layer of dust on the top of the cover. I have pictures, but not going to spend anymore time on this review. Just want to warn future customers looking at this location.
HHernandezRachelPros: Nice water pressure, sparkling clean toilet, cold mini fridge (kept ice cream frozen and water bottles chilly from fridge), good tasting ice
Cons: Weird clicking noise all night, trash not emptied, stained chaise, no bag for ice bucket, dirty soap tray
Our room looked and smelled clean, but there was a pink stain on the chaise lounge, the soap tray had a brown circle of gunk on it, and there was still trash in one of the trash cans. I was not about to use an ice bucket with no bag in it, but at least the plastic cups were individually wrapped. The mini fridge was nice and cold, keeping our ice cream pints frozen and chilling out complimentary Kirkland water bottles in 20 mins.
Even though I closed the shower curtain fully, and made sure the magnets were properly attached on the inside of the tub, there was a pool of water on the floor when I came out.
The bed was decently comfortable and springy, but the bedspread was very thin and the ”fitted sheet” was a flat sheet that was too small for the bed, not covering the bottom 2 inches on the top.
The continental breakfast was full of somehow-dry danishes and chocolate filled crepes. Coffee was meh, cereal options were good, but I didn't see milk. I did see yogurt, but it didn't feel the least bit cold.
LLIHONGDue to the temporary change of travel needs to stay, find a few places are full of room, the sky is already black, just grab one, just have a place to sleep, compared to the previous accommodation, this is expensive and poor cost-effective. The only thing that left a good impression was that the small restaurant next to it was good and the dishes tasted good.
KKashFrom the moment we arrived at the Masterpiece Hotel, we knew we were in for a treat. Our room boasted a stunning view, and it was the perfect backdrop for relaxing after a day of exploring Morro Bay. The customer support was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff always willing to go the extra mile.
Speaking of treats, the breakfast was a delightful surprise. Fresh pastries, yogurt, fruit, and the amazing make-your-own waffle station had us fueled up and ready to take on the day. The waffles were truly a highlight - fluffy, crispy, and customizable with an array of toppings. It was a fun and delicious way to start the morning.
Beyond the view, breakfast, and customer service, the overall experience at the Masterpiece Hotel was awesome. The room was clean and comfortable, the public spaces were inviting, and the location was perfect for walking to restaurants, shops, and the beach. We truly felt we were staying in a masterpiece itself! If you're looking for a beautiful and comfortable place to stay in Morro Bay, look no further than the Masterpiece Hotel. We highly recommend it and can't wait to return!
