5/5. Our three man group, including my father, friend and myself, stayed in the corner room on the fourth floor from around September 24th-27th. We stayed in Japan for 20 days total, visiting Osaka, Kyoto, Hakone-en, Tokyo and eventually Kōriyama and then another place in Osaka. We stayed in four hotels and one B&B during that time, and this was by far my favourite place that we stayed at throughout the entire trip. The room easily fit the three of us and was the best value we got out of a hotel by leaps and bounds. This was a fantastic place to stay and unwind after Tokyo. The location is just a six minute walk from Kōriyama Station which is fairly central to a lot of places worth sightseeing, although Koriyama itself is pretty incredible, especially if you want to escape the heat and bustle of places like Tokyo or Osaka. The reason to come here is the raw value and what you get for staying here. The staff here are very gracious and patient. They have a public bath/spa with incredible facilities, including a sauna, cold bath, lay down pools, you name it. They seemed very relaxed about tattoos; two of the people had very large and hard to sleeve tattoos. Neither of them ended up using the spa, which is honestly their loss, but they seemed fine with having them in as long as they covered them with a towel. I’m pretty terrible at the Japanese language, so at first I assumed it would cost money to use the spa, however the (incredibly nice and helpful) lady working there insisted I could go in. What I ended up getting for free was an onsen experience that I paid ~$100 Canadian for previously. For free, to reiterate, and it’s open incredibly late, with complimentary probiotic drinks/ice-cream in the morning and night respectively. The entire second floor is a marvel. They have a place just off to the side of the spa where you can pour your own beer on tap for 300 yen which is also a large manga library. You can do your laundry in there as well, set it in and go for a back, come back and get an ice cream and chill. I honestly felt like a king. I’m almost certain they had free soba at a specific time too, but never got the chance to use it. There is a massage parlour on that floor as well where you can book your times in advance which my friend got to use, and by his own words it was well worth it. There are so many good things I could say about this place, but they also went above and beyond and blew my expectations of service out of the water. During one day of sightseeing one of our group left some souvenirs inside of a taxi as we were on our way back to the train station. By the time we got back to the hotel, the staff had already been contacted by the taxi company and arranged to have the souvenirs dropped off, which we picked up on the same day. I wish I knew enough of the language to ask for more details on what exactly happened, but this one interaction cemented in my mind just how incredibly nice and just plain good the people are in Japan, and

Located across the west exit rotary of Koriyama station, there are stores and blood donation rooms on the first floor, and convenience stores on the first floor are put from the inside of the building, so it is convenient to shop without being wet in the rain. The hotel front desk is on the 4 floor, check-in is manned, and payment is done by self machine. The elevator up to the room is a type of touching the room card to the sensor and pressing the accommodation floor button. The room was large to some extent, and there was no feeling of pressure, the interior was stylish, but there was a little tiresome in the furniture. Wifi speed is high speed with down sliding up. Between the bathroom and the toilet, it was partitioned by a glass door, and the bathroom was large and overhead shower, and it was comfortable to take a bath. Breakfast is a Japanese buffet from 6 o'clock at the restaurant on the second floor and it is helpful to get breakfast from early hours. When I stayed in Fukushima City, I went to Iizaka Onsen hot spring or the hotel close to Fukushima station was the main. This time, I chose this hotel a little far away. The reason for the choice is that the evaluation point was relatively high. It was 10 minutes from the east exit of Fukushima Station, but it is certainly the distance. There are many hotels nearby, so it felt a little far away. The hotel itself is large and the facilities are good. It will be renewed. It was a little good with a staff of about 3 people. The large and splendid area of the 1F lobby, which you have not seen recently in check-in, was a lounge where guests could drink coffee freely. It would have been a cafe corner before. The room was a single of 10F but it was 18m2 wide and enough for one person. I was able to use my luggage in the corridor. The desk work was also functional and there was a chair and a small round table at the window. The toilet was using a mirror to reduce it. I thought that there was no space to put shampoo in the bathtub, and it was not attached when it was new. There was no problem with using it at all. Breakfast was from ６:30 and I was happy that there was a raw *. It is highly valued overall.

I stayed overnight in a very compact but also very practical room with everything I needed. The space was well-designed with a good-sized desk which had three powerpoints above it (yay! doesn't happen everywhere), so easy to plug in tablet and accessories, and also charge phone and camera battery. Small fridge and tv, humidifier, electric jug, nighshirt and complimentary slilppers. Lovely ceramic tea mugs. I did find the waste bins a little small (no recycling but that's often the case in Japanese hotels). Wi fi worked well, and there was a radio. The comfortable bed had a nice flat pillow and lighting console conveniently placed. The bathroom was small but there was a good deep bath. Interesting city and mountain views from the room. The hotel lobby was attractively decorated. The location was conveniently close to the JR Station as well as eateries and some shops. Good value, and would stay again.

A very convenient hotel near the Fukushima Station. We had a twin room at level 8. It was clean and good. The water pressure was excellent. Hotel also provides facial masks, sachet moisturizer and lotions. Hotel provided maps for tourist. There are restaurants, ***** store, daiso, family mart and supermarket in the vicinity. Excellent location! The Corasse Fukushima Center is just behind the hotel. It has a shopping area with local produce. There is also a sake tasting corner.

From the next time, I want to find a hotel with a parking space that can be stopped by a motorcycle as a lesson. This time it became the ninth time in the reprint support touring, it became the form of unexpected support. Until the last time, even in Koriyama's hotel, the parking lot was mostly stopped, so I saw it sweet. The response of the hotel staff was great, but it was a puppet.

Living in Japan as a vegetarian for many years I am used to having to tough it out at hotels. Although there are exceptions, the majority of these facilities in Japan are still in the dark ages when it comes to vegetarian food options and unfortunately this hotel is no exception. This was our second time to stay here and we had hoped in vain that the food selection would be better. Shame on us, yes, but shame on the hotel even more, in my opinion. First, the positives. It is in a great location: you step out of the hotel and you are practically launched on the Goshiknuma trail. If you have a car it is easy to drive to nearby starting points for various excellent hiking options. If you don't have a car you are very limited in how many hiking spots you can access. The staff is friendly and helpful. The previous time we stayed, during the pandemic, there was a near-fluent in English tri-lingual front desk staff member who was great. We don't really need that, however, so I cannot say that this time we encountered any English speaking staff. The room was clean and comfortable. On our previous stay we had a gigantic room for less than what we paid this time but that was during the pandemic when hotels were practically begging for business and we were also able to avail ourselves of the government subsidy program for travel, which has long been discontinued. Anyway, we were happy enough with the room. The onsen is good: spacious and properly maintained. This facility is actually two joined hotels and if you stay on this side (pricier and with nicer rooms) the onsen is less crowded and nicer. The food was another story. Both the first time we stayed and this time, we opted for the buffet meal package: breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is passable if you are lacto-ovo as I am and not super strict, meaning you can drink miso soup that will doubtlessly have at least some fish stock as part of it. Dinner is, frankly, pathetic. There is nothing of substance for vegetarians unless you consider a salad, rice, pickles, and a couple of fried vegetables to be a meal. I do not. Virtually every dish had some meat or fish in it. Why does the pasta have to have bacon? Why does the stir fry vegetables have to have chicken? This hotel is far from the only one that does this, but in 2023 is it not possible to have one or two entree type offerings entirely meat or fish free? The buffet is gigantic and has huge variety but all of that variety is thoroughly saturated with meat and fish. Total fail. We will not stay here again, regretfully. Note: the buffet was equally poor during our first stay and it was entirely on us that we hoped there would be some improvement a few years later. Like I said, shame on us. That does not excuse the hotel from not providing better food options for vegetarians.

This hotel is about three minutes away from Gunsan Station. The location is relatively convenient and difficult to find because the hotel entrance is in a small street. The most amazing thing is that there is only one elevator on the ninth floor that can go directly to each floor. If there are many people in the morning, the waiting time will be very long. Not short I would like to give special praise to the two male colleagues at the front desk: The first one is from Taiwan. His attentive service. He knew that we are not Japanese, so he specially printed out maps and instructions in English and introduced us to nearby attractions and restaurants. His attentive service is highly praised. The service of the second Japanese guy was also very good. We asked him for help to change the pick-up time of another hotel. Not only did he call us for us, but when we went back to the hotel to retrieve our luggage, he even printed out a receipt for us. The detailed map from their hotel to our next hotel, the train schedule, the pick-up and drop-off landmarks at the train station were all printed in Chinese for us, which was beyond our expectations and we were overjoyed. It deserves praise.

On the other side of downtown, there is a little from the station. Is it reasonable for that? Breakfast was small, but it was usually delicious. Scrambled eggs, boiled *, sausage, Chicken basil boiled, yogurt, fruit, salad, cereal, bread, etc. 24 hours coffee? I could drink for free, and if I didn't get in the parking lot, I would have a little bit of a place. It's not far away, but when I came back from shopping, I was unable to stop at the hotel parking lot. and there's a loan.

3 ～ 5 minutes walk from JR Koriyama Station. You can move on a roofed sidewalk or arcade when crossing the crosswalk in front of Koriyama Station and in front of the hotel. The location is downtown, and the convenience can be said to be outstanding in almost walking distance when you eat a little after check-in. The room is like a general business hotel and there is no particular shortage, and it is a room that can rest slowly, but it was a pity that the hair in the bathroom was not cleaned. The hotel staff are all kind and comfortable, and I think the cleaning is also happened, so I will use it again for commercial use.

The size of the room is not cramped, but the unit bathroom is small, and when you sit on the toilet seat, the front of your knees is almost a wall and stress. Also, the shower water pressure is weak. A mysterious layout that the TV is in front of the bathroom door. Is it open and watch TV while sitting in the toilet or soaking in the bathtub? I don't have such a hobby .... I feel like it was beautiful when it was new, but I feel like I'm staying here for consecutive nights. It is inconvenient that there is no power supply around the bed, the remote control of the air conditioner is tilted, and the width is narrow while leaving the appearance that there was a wider bed. (It's enough to sleep alone) I feel like I've replaced it with a bed. The floor and the stains on the bathroom make me feel particularly depressed.

The bath was big and the fatigue was healed. The room was clean and I was able to spend very comfortable. Breakfast was also a service, there were many side dishes, and it was the best and delicious. Curry 🍛 was good, and there were 7 types of bread 🍞🥐, so I couldn't eat it.

It was a reasonable and satisfying hotel. The location is a little confusing, and the hotel is small? So I was a little worried when I was walking from the station. I was relieved to find the signboard of the parking lot. I thought the room was a bit old, but considering the price, it's enough. The breakfast was delicious and I was satisfied. I am glad that the breakfast at the hotel is substantial recently. If there was a request, I thought that the air conditioner would be individually air conditioned in each room. Anyway, it was a satisfying ２ night. Thank you.

We visited Sansuiso in December 2022 in the snowy weather. Four of us stayed in a suite room with private bath in Shisuitei, the new wing. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable with a bedroom section (with 2 ample sized western beds) that can be separated with sliding doors at night, as well as a very big tatami room where two more people can sleep on futons. The heating system was top notch with precise control, and I should mention the toilet was equipped with top-of-the-line TOTO washlet bidet with automated lid and flushing. I have multiple food allergies, including gluten (celiac disease), and my husband cannot eat eggs or dairy products. When I explained this to them when I made the reservation, they readily accommodated us, and I was thrilled that they didn’t simply skip some things, but carefully prepared special course menus to match our needs. Since my mother was going through chemotherapy, we had a private room for dinner and breakfast (plus we could add whatever we wanted from the breakfast buffet to the prepared meal). Both my mom and her friend said they felt like they had been treated to a fine restaurant for each meal. It was our first time to stay in Tsuchiyu Onsen; we stayed there for two nights when it was snowing heavily due to a big cold wave. When my mom wanted to go shrimp fishing or my husband wanted to paint kokeshi dolls, the kind okami-san (innkeeper) tactfully allowed us to take the shuttle bus to the venue and the bus came to pick us up on the way back to the inn. Bathing with a view of the snowy slope and waterfall was also wonderful. The shuttle bus from right in front of the Fukushima station is convenient, too. If an opportunity presented itself, we would love to visit Sansuiso again. 2022年12月に、雪の降っている中で福島駅からの送迎バスに乗って伺い利用させて頂きました。リニューアル後の新館である紫水亭6階の露天風呂付きスイートルームに4人で宿泊させて頂いたのですが、広々として清潔感がありとても気持ち良かったです。部屋は広く綺麗で、引き戸で仕切れるベッド部分と、布団で寝られる大きな和室があり、とても快適でした。暖房設備もよく整っており、お部屋のセクションごとに細かくコントロールできます。 私はグルテン（セリアック病）を含む複数の食品アレルギーがあり、主人も卵と乳製品が食べられないのですが、予約時に説明をさせて頂いたところすんなり対応して頂き、それも何かを単に抜くというのではなく、特別にコース料理の中でそれに見合うものを丁寧にご用意して頂いたので感激しました。母が病気のため夕食は個室、朝食も個室のコース（＋バイキングで好きなものを加えることも可能）で、母も彼女の友人も「高級レストランでお食事させて頂いたようだ」と大変喜んでいました。 土湯温泉は初めてで、ちょうど大寒波で雪深い時に2泊滞在したのですが、母が経験したがっていたエビ釣りや夫が興味があったこけしの絵付けなどに行く際、ご親切な女将さんが機転を効かせて送迎バスに便乗させて下さったり、帰りにはバスがお迎えに来て下さったり、心に残るホスピタリティーに満ちたお宿でした。雪景色を見ながらのお風呂も風情があり素敵でした。福島駅からの送迎バスも便利ですし、機会がありましたら、また是非伺いたいです。

It is a historic hot spring club founded in 1841. The emperor of Japan has also come to stay. There is a detailed introduction to this hot spring club on the first floor. It is endless to see. The hotel lobby was very beautiful. The front desk 々 was also good. Move to the accommodation floor by elevator and enter the room smells like a cherry blossom room! It was a smell that I couldn't say anything that I had stained for a long time. I sprayed the deodorant spray in the room but it didn't disappear. The bath for women was a system for borrowing a key at the front desk ２～３ names. It was a continuous holiday, and it was waiting in order. I heard that I could make a reservation and put a reservation. Service is excellent! The staff is very friendly and helpful. He can speak a bit of English. Room is huge and clean with a private toilet and a kitchen area with a microwave. Surrounding area is very quiet and scenary is very beautiful. Got free parking. Onsen is fantastic too. We can use the onsen one more time even though we have checked out at 10am. Got free coffee. Overall, recommended if you visit Tsuchiyu, Fukushima.

Great place where to rest with plenty of nature around and the possibility of reserving the onsen all for yourself. The food is amazing, the space is great and there are plenty of traditional vibes since the first steps you take inside the resort. Absolutely recommended to anyone passing by the area and looking for some relaxing time.

The view of the open-air bath in the room was wonderful ❗️ I definitely wanted to go again. The room is not large but clean. The digging kotatsu is hard to stand and sit, and the sofa is still easy 〜 The next thing I liked was breakfast. Local production for local consumption, all of them are very delicious, but natto was so good that I replaced it lol The sincere service of the staff was also comfortable. In a word, is the response at check-in a Vijiho style? I wonder if it can't be helped in a large inn. Check-in at seating is impossible. Overall the impression was very good. I want to ask again. It is located along the main street and can be seen from afar, so you can see it immediately. It takes 15 ～ 20 minutes to walk from the station of Aizu Wakamatsu, so it is the best hotel for people who use cars more than trains. It is very convenient to go to Mt. iimori, kamagaga Jo castle and shichikamachi station street within 10 minutes by car. Parking at the cherry blossoms You can park about 90 cars for free, but the parking width is narrow, so it is less 々 tight for large cars (3 number cars). When large cars are next to each other, you need to be careful about the door at the time of boarding and boarding. The breakfast was relatively satisfactory (but orange juice was not 100% juice). Great hotel located next to Aizuwakamatsu Station. It’s a great location for being a base to visit all the attractions and great restaurants around the area. It’s a standard Toyoko Inn Japanese business hotel with basic amenities. Room wise it was definitely above average but it’s a bit on the old side. The bed and pillow was comfortable. Great water pressure too. The room came with breakfast so we managed to have a go just before they close up (pretty early at 9am). The food was basic but tasted really good. They also provide a common washer and dryer which was very useful for us travellers. Would definitely consider it as it’s a good budget, centrally located and comfortable.
