This is a nice place, a popular lively and relaxed place. It is popular with young people but as one of the oldest couples here we didn&#39;t feel too bad. The food was delicious, I had the Italian style pork belly sandwich which was delicious.

Can’t say enough positive about this place. The food was delicious with generous portions and staff were second to none. Very attentive friendly and took the time to learn more about us and provided answers to all queries.   The beer options were perfect and you will want to try multiple.  While in the Gastown area, make sure to pop in for a cold one and a bite.

Great views. Good service. Beer is varied and pretty good. Try to get a table at the back of the restaurant to get the best view. Very near the famous clock.

Great View.

On an off-peak day and with (50%+) empty seats, our planned party of 5 was not able to get seating when 2 had arrived. One member had already waited a half hour. Verdict: Disrespectful to clients. p.s. - We have all been regular patrons for over 20 years.  Well, not now - see you at the Lions.

Wacko seating policy

We popped in for a quick drink and ended up staying for 3 hours for food as well!  Very friendly staff, great location, good food and a lovely pint of Hazy IPA.  The building is huge, and has great character with a lovely friendly atmosphere.

Good food and drink, fantastic atmosphere

Popped in for lunch by myself and was sat at the bar where the staff were really friendly and attentive. I had poutine and intended to have one IPA but also had a pumpkin ale which was so tasty. I was in two minds about ordering it but I was so comfortable and the staff were so nice I did and I&apos;m glad because it was really worth it. It&apos;s a huge place, I felt like I almost accidentally went to Narnia finding the toilets. I would guess it gets very very busy at times but I caught it before that happened. Make sure you wait to be seated, it seems like you could just walk in but the staff are covering a massive area and they need to know where you are!

Lively and relaxed

We ordered two seafood towers, grilled octopus for starters, grilled cod and sea buckthorn fish. All seafood was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. Desserts were ok and service was excellent.

This was a great meal for us. We had read a lot of good reviews about this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The menu had a lot of variety. We requested a bar table where we could watch the chef cook.

The Lamplighter Public House was founded in 1899 as a bar. In 1875, there were only 10 buildings in Gastown, 4 of which were dedicated to selling alcoholic beverages. Therefore, this bar has a sense of history and is still popular today because of its attentive service, pleasant atmosphere, and a variety of cocktails, beers, etc.

Amazing venison and beef
Elegant and homely decor. Best venison I&#39;ve ever had. No dress code so you feel at ease. Great starters and great prices. Just loved it.

Cafe il Nido is located in a building called Manhattan Apartments. The building was built in 1908 and is very old. This Italian restaurant is located on the first floor and is decorated in the style of a Tuscan garden courtyard.
