保定稻香村·壹品稻香(西大街店)

I passed by this century-old shop today and couldn't resist going in for a look! They have so many kinds of pastries, including traditional peach shortbread and mung bean cake, and I also saw a few innovative pastries that I'd never seen before. The packaging boxes are also super exquisite. I bought two boxes to take back for my roommates to try, haha!

When I visited this restaurant before, I noticed their kitchen had transparent glass, so I could see the chefs working inside. That's great; it makes me feel safe eating there. I suggest you sit near the kitchen; you'll have a clear view.

The service was truly impeccable. When ordering, the waiters proactively introduced the signature dishes, and when paying the bill, they asked if we wanted our food portioned out, providing generous takeout containers. Many restaurants around here prioritize convenience these days; it's rare to find one that goes to such lengths.
