I ate here once before, and their wontons are really substantial—large in size and with a generous filling. The chicken broth is quite flavorful, not overly MSG-laden. I recommend ordering this; don't order any of the fancy ones.
This silver thread noodle shop is amazing! The noodles are really as thin as the name suggests, like silver threads. You can choose between red or white soup base. I ordered the red soup, and the flavor was so authentic. One bite and you get the feeling of old Jiangsu! Don't you also love this kind of thin noodles?
The toppings were generous; the pork chops and meatballs were both stewed until very flavorful. The stir-fried shrimp and bamboo shoots were especially fresh and perfect for mixing with noodles! I suggest you go early, as the toppings might not be as plentiful during peak hours.
