Located near the South Gate of Paifang Street, Taiping Road, about 150 meters away from Chao Sanyi. Recommended dishes include pickled blood clams, salted crab, special casserole porridge, Arctic clams and other delicacies. Whether you come alone or with others, you can enjoy a pleasant dining experience.
I went to Chaozhou with my friends and planned to try the local specialties. A local gourmet recommended me a 20-year-old sashimi shop. After walking around Paifang Street all day, I happened to find their shop nearby. So I navigated to Guantang Laohong Sashimi. The sign at the door is not big, but you can see it from a distance. Walked into the shop, ordered the order, and chatted with the boss while waiting for the food. This shop was first opened in Guantang, and most of the customers were nearby neighbors. More and more people came later, and it was only opened in Paifang Street this year. So that more people can eat at their shop without having to travel so far. - Like other sashimi restaurants, Lao Hong’s has fish hanging in the open kitchen window. The chef is slicing fish and shrimp, and the slicing process is so comfortable to watch. Each piece of fish and shrimp is crystal clear. Lao Hong’s sashimi uses freshwater fish, which is light and fresh. Of course, Chaozhou’s unique “raw ingredients” are indispensable. Ginger, onion, ginger, garlic slices, preserved radish, etc. Mix with clear oil, dip the sashimi in it. That bite is so delicious~ But I prefer to dip it in bean paste, which tastes more salty and fresh. - Lao Hong’s pickled food is also one of the signature dishes. Raw pickled crab, raw pickled crab, and raw pickled blood clams are all delicious. Especially raw pickled crab, people who know it will know it! The full crab roe is so delicious, I love it so much! At this time, a bowl of delicious seafood porridge is also good! The porridge made from fresh crabs and shrimps is very sweet! It tastes really good! Shrimp and crab meat are also delicious! Especially in autumn and winter, it is also very good to drink hot porridge~ - 📍Guantang Laohong Fish Sashimi·Raw Marinated·Casserole Porridge·Braised Goose Meat (Gucheng Store) Address: No. 18, Building C2, Kaiyuan Plaza, Taiping Street, Xiangqiao District
How can you not eat sashimi when you travel to Chaozhou? I did a lot of research before coming here, and finally chose this one❗️ It was recommended by many local Chaozhou friends. The location is very convenient, right in the Paifang Street Scenic Area. It is a long-established store, and those who have eaten there say it is good❗️ Recommended dishes: 1⃣️Shijian sashimi As thin as a cicada's wing, crispy and bouncy, wrapped with side dishes and sauce, one bite is enough 2⃣️Raw marinated salmon🍣 All the fish belly parts are selected, thickly cut, with just the right amount of fat, and the raw marinated sauce is also superb, you must order it❗️ 3⃣️Salted crab Not fishy at all, each one is yellow, fresh and sweet, and soft, you can eat all the meat with a light suck. Casserole porridge, raw marinated shrimp, and prawn sashimi are all delicious and not disappointing, and the price-performance ratio is also very high. It is really satisfying to eat this for the first time in Chaoshan❗️
