LamYinChingTung po is connected to many old timer when they were operating above the wet market in North Point. Back then it wasn’t in such an enclosed environment.I find the place now is too noisy to just have a meal. It’s not a place where you can have conversation as you need to SHOUT over the noisy music and crowd. No doubt that was a vibe there as people are doing their rounds of Yum Seng. (the Chinese way of saying bottoms up) and people do stunts opening the beer bottles bare hands.Food wise. There are wide varieties of choices. But each time I went there I will come back with a bad stomach. The tofu dish in the photo is nice and special and I advise to avoid the tomato soup, it was sticky thick soup which taste a bit weird to my liking.

This restaurant is similar to a tea restaurant. There are many restaurants on this street. I chose a restaurant that is frequented by locals. The taste did not disappoint me. The water spinach is even better if it is cooked with shrimp paste, and the mustard shrimp is delicious.
Although it is a food stall, Dongbao Restaurant is located in the same building. The first and second floors of this Zha Hua Market are the vegetable market, and the third floor is a cooked food market that is somewhat similar to the Shilin Night Market that was moved indoors. Dongbao Bistro, which occupies most of the area of this cooked food market, is only open at night and is very popular. If you want to dine here, remember to make a reservation. A jumble of tables and chairs resembling an outdoor roadside stall, the walls are covered with movie posters from different generations, and menus written in fantastic fonts. This is a very interesting space.
How can you not watch the boss opening beer handsomely when you come here? For the boss to open beer handsomely, we opened bottle after bottle of beer, what should we do if it exceeds the estimate? But the boss is handsome, handsome, opening beer is also super cute and interesting. The dishes! I think it's good, if you don't have to queue, it's good to eat casually, remember to wear more clothes, it's too cold there.
This restaurant is considered a famous restaurant. I heard that the owner was a chef from a big hotel before, so the quality is always guaranteed. Normally, you need to wait for an hour before you can be seated, but the business is so good that you have to wait a long time before you can be served. In addition, the attitude of the waiter is not very satisfactory.
This place is very retro, and the owner looks a lot like Hong Kong actor Wang Xi. He sings, dances, and chats with customers! Most of the customers are local Hong Kong people! However, the food is just average, and the prices are a bit high!
The environment is simple and has a Hong Kong style. It's quite lively at night. The food is very unique. They actually use bowls to drink water, and those bowls are called "battle bowls," which sounds very imposing. The tofu is a bit like stinky tofu. The soy sauce fried noodles are delicious, but very oily. The chicken gizzards can also be fried and coated with egg and chicken paste. The environment is noisy, and the music playing is loud. The service is very average, but some people might mind.
