Xitang is really lively at night. I searched for a group purchase at Yanjunlou nearby and found it is quite cost-effective. It is suitable for the taste of the whole family. The environment is quite good. The Jiangnan flavor is quaint and you just want to eat the local characteristics! I especially like the river crab and chicken pot. The golden chicken soup is so fresh. The chicken meat is chewy. Adding a few river crabs makes it more delicious. The soup is super delicious! The steamed white water fish and yam fungus are also very good. The farm ingredients are fresh and delicious, and it is very comfortable to eat!

Avoid the peak of National Day and travel in advance. Go to Xitang Ancient Town on the weekend. It takes about 2 hours to drive from Hangzhou. The road is smooth and it is quite convenient. We arrived at nearly dinner time. As soon as we entered the ancient town, we started looking for food. Several restaurants with high recommendations on reviews are almost concentrated next to the Misty Corridor. Passing by Yanjun Tower, the decoration is antique and the first-floor lobby is almost full. It is right to choose a restaurant with many guests. The lady in the store is gentle and cute, a typical Jiangnan water town beauty. She found a seat for us and recommended several Xitang specialties. Wontons and old duck pot, you must order it. The ingredients are very rich, old duck meat, shepherd's purse and fresh meat wontons, ham slices, dried bamboo shoots, black fungus, and the soup is very delicious. I drank two bowls of soup and ate several wontons. Crystal chicken, completely different from white-cut chicken, is steamed in water, with appropriate saltiness, and the chicken tastes very tender and juicy. There are various homemade fruit wines on the counter, which look very tempting. If I didn’t have to drive back, I would like to taste them.

Recalling Jiangnan, the tastes are now more fusion.
